Freedon Nadd's spirit is apparently still on Onderon even after having his body entombed on Dxun. He has a message for Ulic telling him that his destiny is to become a Dark Lord of the Sith.
Nadd also tells Ulic that there is another that is even greater than him with the potential of a Dark Lord. At the same time on Dantooine, Exar Kun spars with Crado and bests him easily in front of their masters and his Cathar mate, Sylvar.
Next up, Exar Kun takes on Sylvar. Their lightsabers clash such so much force that the sounds can be heard for kilometers. In the end, Exar Kun prevails, but before he is able to deal a killing strike to Sylvar, Master Vodo intervenes just in the nick of time.
Now it is time to Exar Kun to put his skills to the test against a real Master. His eventually bests his master, Vodo Siosk-Baas in Jedi combat. After the fight, his master states that something is missing inside the heart of Exar Kun. Exar Kun replies, "Only I know my heart, Master."
Freedon Nadd's ship, which brought him to Onderdon 400 centuries before is being converted into a Jedi Outpost.
Exar Kun arrives on Onderon and meets with Master Arca Jeth, who can sense in the Force that Exar Kun is up to something.
Aleema Keto unleashes her Dark Side magic on the soldiers of the Empress Teta system, altering their perceptions of reality.
Aleema conjuring illusions of creatures thought to be long extinct out of thin air with Sith Magic. Nomi Sunrider can sense they are nothing more than illusions of Dark Side sorcery.
Exar Kun arrives on Dxun and is met with danger on all sides. Not a problem for a Jedi though.
Slicing through Mandalorian steel, Exar Kun invades the tomb of Freedon Nadd with a surprise appearance from the Dark Lord himself, gifting him with the scrolls of his former master, Naga Sadow. The voice of Master Vodo being heard by Exar Kun telling him to turn back is ignored in favor of the voice of a long dead Dark Lord of the Sith.
Realizing that what they see is a Sith illusion, Ulic and Nomi sense the power of the Dark Side intensifying as they draw closer to their enemy. Once Aleema and Satal catch on that they know it is all a trick, they fire up another distraction in the form of battleships. At this point it becomes a battle of wills between Nomi and Aleema.
Ulic is hit by flying slag from a burning Chaos Fighter. Nomi manages to pull out the slag while telling Ulic to hold onto the light and push the dark power away.
