Street Fighter: discussion, feats, and analysis

Once again didn't care that Xho disagrees with me. He seemed to want to debate and so I engaged his points. Which I was having fun doing until I was dog piled on about nonsense shit that wasn't true.

Just letting you guys know what was going on in my head. Will try to be a little more careful about how I position words in the future.
Its all good dude. I will say, next time it feels like your getting jumped on anything for any reason just ask. Cause to be real, we all were confused here.

We've had people throw around harsher words and we are all still friends here.

You should see how crazy these goobers get in the circus thread
:heston

Always remember that sure we can argue but at the end of the day we shouldn't take anything to heart and never take it too seriously.

And so does Doraemon:

The blue cat here is also a fan of Street Fighter and wants all of you to stop fighting and chill and have some doriyaki.

@Doronbo_Shirake
Since Eric wants this to be over then its over. If he leaves he leaves. It is what it is
Sir there's no way I'm leaving this thread without pulling up this awesome easter egg of the most iconic anime/manga character in Japan itself from Street Fighter 3rd Strike just to try and calm @Punchsplosion and everyone else here down and to show @Doronbo_Shirake something nice and cool here.

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate this secret hidden Doraemon cameo in a Street Fighter game that can only be accessed through the glitch of a background map?

Okay, I just wanted to find an excuse to Doraemonpost in this thread after Hello Kittyposting.

Sue me.

Anyways later dudes.

Doraemon? How?!

Yeah anyways let's just go back to also appreciating Doraemon's cameo in a Street Fighter game shall we everyone?

If there is any series I would like to see Street Fighter or any fighting game franchise here collaborate with:

It'd be my boi Doraemon.

In case anyone in this thread is unfamiliar with the dude, please feel free to let me know.

It's a great cameo to be sure.

Yeah it's an utter pity and a bloody shame that most people here in North America still don't know who Doraemon is. And most other iconic children's anime in Japan for that matter.

Street Fighter and other fighting games would have been another great and fantastic way to spread the awareness of my beloved childhood blue robot cat's existence to the West in the form of a cameo or collabs.

This board needs more Doraemon bros
(and Fujiko Fujio bros).

Seriously. It does lol.

Once this DLC season is over....you might get your wish lol.

Who knows what Capcom has planned?

And while we're at it, Capcom also created a kiddie ride of Hello Kitty back in the 90's:

And also another kiddie ride based off of an even more obscure children's anime series from Fujiko Fujio (the same creator as Doraemon), but I will keep the identity of that game and its parent series a secret and a surprise from this board for the time being.
Call me crazy, but I actually consider it unironically the single greatest creation of Capcom itself in my opinion. I'm just a little bitter and sad that it's not included in Capcom's Bundle or whatever. 😥

Anyways nice and good to see another person here who potentially recognizes Japan's actual most iconic anime/manga character, Doraemon. 🙂

I hope.

Bro deserves more recognition and love here in the American anime/manga/japanese media nerd fandom. 😦

If anyone here wishes to know what that other kiddie ride game made by Capcom I'm implying is ahead of time, feel free to shoot me a pm.

Anyways for the sake of getting back on topic with Street Fighter:

I always wondered. What would be Street Fighter's greatest rival and enemy either in powerscaling or the broader nerd fandom:

1) Tekken?
2) Mortal Kombat?
3) King of Fighters (or SNK for all of Capcom in general)?

Or maybe Dead or Alive?

Based on the crazy shit that happened in Tekken 8 between Jin and Kazuya, and Devil Jin's Arcade ending....it would definitely be Tekken.

MK top tiers are far too much for SF and I'm actually not quite sure where KoF tops out but I believe it's well below country-continent level.

I heard KoF recently has a multiverse and some entity that connects to a countless number of them like a conduit based on lore. And having a plethora of more diverse and potent haxes than Tekken to boot.

But my question was more about which franchise/series is considered to be the biggest rival of SF in terms of powerscaling fanboys and competing fandoms.

I've always seen SNK as Capcom's biggest and truest rival of all time in that regards, and I wonder if that makes KoF and their fans by extension a bigger enemy to SF and their fans than Tekken's and Mortal Kombat's.

"The One" from MK (an entity which is basically all Elder Gods combined) is universe level, so yeah, there's nothing in SF capable of beating that

Tekken is officially fighting tooth and nail against SF when it comes to feats

KOF is a bit superior thanks to Otoma-Raga, who supposedly created the planet

Well apart from "The One" and those Elder Gods, how high does MK scale nowadays?

But doesn't SF still lean towards having at least slightly better AP/DC and hax than Tekken?

Aren't the reasons KoF is superior to SF to begin with because of their sheer variety of better hax and maybe speed (unless I heard wrong)? And doesn't KoF now have a multiverse consisting of not just different universes, but timelines and dimensions?

Also doesn't Otoma=Raga basically have multiversal range or something being an entity tied to a power that created infinite universes? And didn't Ash Crimson cause distortions across the multiverse with her time-fuckery?

I recall Mai's model looked a bit more questionable when we first saw the teaser, but then seeing it in action in the gameplay looked great and eased those doubts. Once we see her in action, then I expect to be more sold on the Elena look. Returning characters have also tended to have their classic costumes as their secondary outfit so good chance we get that here too.
