Most likely it will be a new anime from SAO or some LN that has never had an adaptation.
The fact that SAO got the beautifully animated and big budget Alicization anime not only released in the same season as Index III but Kadokawa advertising both side by side is a sin. Index III deserved better and what we got instead was the worst season of the whole series yet.
Especially when Toaru is the bigger series between the two
Why I wouldn’t be excited even if we get a New Testament anime adaptation. Just going to be more Nishikiori inserting unneeded fanservice and slice of life bullshit over important scenes, poorly animated fights and visuals that don’t do any justice to the novel version, and the entire season having the budget of a sack of potatoes anyway

Because the people in charge of the anime are JCstaff, who are of the vibe of maximizing profits with low costs, that's why they have popular IPs like OPM that sells a lot but when it comes to animating it is mediocre except for some scenes and that's why no subsequent season had the quality animation than the first one MadHouse did.The fact that SAO got the beautifully animated and big budget Alicization anime not only released in the same season as Index III but Kadokawa advertising both side by side is a sin. JcStaff sees it as very profitable to do a thousand crossovers and advertising with ToAru characters than to do another anime because it requires investment, that is why they will not let another studio, for example ANIPLEX, animate a season of ToAru and they probably will not release another season until they see that their profits begin to decrease.
And because of this model, JCstaff is one of the most profitable animation studios, along with Toei, which practices similar practices.
Generally, studios that animate very well are on the verge of bankruptcy or evading taxes, as happens to UFOTABLE that the president of the company was in prison or Madhouse that was bankrupt after HxH and was left in limbo making animes for commissions from third parties until 2025.

The phases and such are all just symptoms: the underlying structure that they reside in, i.e. the Sephirah/Four Worlds/the Sephiroth as a whole, would also be destroyed.

I appreciate the effort but that is not related to my argument, this is something I have agreed to since the beginning. In fact, it was @Astaro who said that the collision of Phases would destroy the Pure World rather than the other way around.
By argument is that the Sephiroth or rather the Abhramic cosmology is not all there is to ToAru since many other mythologies exist. Characters use Sephiroth when talking about the structure of the universe merely because modern magical systems such as the ones created by Crowley and Golden Dawn use Sephiroth as a model to explain the universe because they find it accurate.
What I mean to say is that the Abhramic Sephiroth is merely the most accurate model they could find so they used its framework to explain the cosmology, not that Kabbalah is all there is to Toaru.
That was a typo on my end. I meant to say the destruction of the Pure World would ruin the stability of the rest of the Phases, leading to collisions and mutual destruction of all of existence from those collisions

Many other mythologies exist as phases, yes, but those phases themselves are contained within the Sephiroth.
Something had to predate humanity (and thus the subsequent formation/creation of phases/phase beings given human belief), after all.
Although I guess either way we do seem to be in agreement that while the Sephiroth may be (mostly) accurate to describe the cosmology, it may not be the full story per se (given that there's an "outside" of it all per GT10, which is strange since the only thing that could possibly be "outside" the Sephiroth is Ein Sof itself(himself? whatever-self)
