Just another nail in the coffin in the idea that TF is just one multiverse

There's honestly probably a ton of lore in Cyberverse but I don't really have time to check it out yet and just found this on a whim.
 
I do like how its pointed out that theres just one difference between these entire realities; the bot who the autobots got a message from, and thats enough to make a new universe :tupac
 

I'm rewatching the Season 3 episode Chaos, the animation is actually SURPRISINGLY GOOD, at least for a season 3 episode, i didnt remember it being this good
 
Honestly, if season 3 had more animation like this, i think it would be remembered much more fondly.
If i remember right, the episodes were commissioned really late into the production year or something like that, so the animation was really rushed. In season 1 and 2, the animators had enough time to make corrections before the final airing. this shows in the difference between the final versions of the episodes that aired on TV vs the Rhino versions who use pre airing episodes for some reason

Yknow, for an old bot, Kup holds his own pretty well against the Predacons.
Obviously still outmatched, but Grimlock easily overpowers Razorclaw, so I guess this is more proof that however strong the individual special team members are, the combination process makes them obscenely more powerful; im just curious by how much.

Completely irrelevant to scaling, Kup was with Space-Jonah and the giant space whale, which the very existence of such a thing is incredibly amusing to me
 
Also something that is really funny to me is the fact that Kup is the grizzled old guy, yet he was young 100,000 years ago (when tfwiki says the flashback is set, but idk where they got that from, maybe the script)
Thats a long time ago yeah, but Optimus, Megatron, and all the Autobots and Decepticons crashed four million years ago.
im sure this is just an inconsistency but its funny to think about, are optimus and his crew just like captain america frozen in ice for decades

I always find it funny how combiners are either two or three times the height of normal transformers, or absolutely gigantic, with no in between

i kind of like combiners being colossal, although it is sort of confusing lol, i wonder what you all think
 
I’m fine with it for dramatic effect, they definitely shouldn’t be smaller than “big guys” like Jetfire or something. Thats a little thing that bugs me about some of the jp continuity shows

oh absolutely
i think they probably trend toward being bigger than the scale charts in the show, because they very blatantly grow in size, like devastator goes from six above average bots to being big enough to hold optimus prime in his hand like hes his toy, and that trend continues amongst every other combiner
i have nothing against combiners being giant in fact, personally id use it as a shorthand to show that combiners are more than the sum of their parts
its just real funny when they go from slightly larger than large but normal bots to being like the height of a skyscraper, i think thats a bit much lmao
