I think maybe in the past you shared it? It mostly seems alright (a lot of the sources are my own), though I do have some issues; I don't think the Anti-Spiral dimension fully transcends the Multiverse, rather it exists on the highest level.

You're basically saying that the galaxies in the Anti-Spiral dimension would be bigger than universes anyway due to brane cosmology? That does make sense.

There's also some stuff from Otoko (particularly Part 4), but that gets pretty weird and meta (and unfortunately, it's not been fully translated into English, so there may be some missing context).

Okay thanks

I still need a quote about the normal universe being infinite, if there is one. Would be helpful for SGGL and TTGL

Also got that thing about the labyrinth being a fractal?

I know Leeron refers to the Universe as infinite, and there's another instance in Work Soul I'll look into retranslating.

The fractal part is from Work Soul, though I'll have to check to see the page number.

Looking back through my various Gurren Lagann books again, I found something quite of interest regarding the storyboards we see in Work Soul. It seems to mention that the final battle of the movie does go to another universe when STTGL forms, mentioning the 'final universe' and how the black universe is filled with galaxies like plankton in the deep sea (I will need to have a human translator look at this further however).

I found it! I FINALLY FUCKING FOUND IT! I have at last found a complete version of the Gurren Lagann Otoko no Jouken audio drama online. I've downloaded it (just to be sure) and had a machine transcribe it. I'm still figuring out all the translations and making sure everything is accurate here regarding machine transcriptions of Japanese audio, but I've managed to already match up the part of it I've seen translated already, and holy fucking shit this has some big stuff in it!

This is where the translation of the previously translated part begins.
Avant Simon's Black Gurren Lagann can transcend dimensions.
17:59
Otoko Simon ripping up his manuscript to the Granzeboma manga is the moment when the 2D universe linked with the Otoko universe, with Simon's manuscript becoming a gateway between dimensions.
20:33
Avant Simon can transcend the walls between dimensions (and seems to imply he'll go to yet another level).
29:10
The truth of the Otoko universe is realised; the Otoko dimension is a dimension based off sound, where 'perceptions of sound' make up the world, with the sonic universe being comparable to a flat silver disc going round and round. This is in direct reference to how the Otoko series was originally released as a CD drama. This means that there are different universes with different laws of physics.
29:43
Avant Simon's Black Gurren Lagann absorbs Genomes Red Gurren Lagann.
32:00
The power of Otoko Simon's (?) voice gave Avant Simon power, and made spatial teleportation possible. Great Gurren Lagann is a super robot that realised the existence of dimensional interference waves. As the Otoko universe is a sound-dimensional universe, sound builds the world and thus a soulful voice increases the persuasive power of creating the world.
37:57
The power of Simon/Kamina's (?) cry cuts through the heavens, twists space and time and pierces evil (due to a sound-based universe?).
39:12
The Infinity Big Monster can twist the two forces (?) into 20 dimensions. It's also noted that 'not a single piece of DNA was destroyed by the inferno of the creation of the universe.'
41:00
When Otoko Simon is freed from Avant Simon's core drill (or possibly the 2D universe), he reveals that Avant Simon never had a Kamina or Nia in his world to guide him, and he fought against everything in the universe by himself, and after fighting and fighting, came to the Otoko world because he had no one left to fight in his own universe. Thus does Otoko Simon rewrites the world so Avant Simon does meet with a bro.
46:13
Viral's (?) first day as a teacher ends, and he says that even if he lives in a sound-based dimension in a silver disk, it's still where they life. He tells the listener if they find their universe to give it a listen.
48:20
There's still tons and tons I need to fix up with the translations, to check and double check to make sure everything is accurate and perfect, but to start, this gives us a good basic summary, and it's definately worth delving into more. There's also more with the Granze Boma threatening the Universe, Big Bang attacks and so-forth.

Some more feats from Otoko no Jouken! Avant Simon's Black Gurren Lagann becomes the Granzeboma.

33:12
It's said that the heroes should have disconnected all other dimensions (or extra-dimensional space, as another translator reads). It also appears that someone will use space restoring powers to restore their world.
39:34
In what sounds like a gattai-sequence, the world is shaken by a cry that roars to the end of the universe.
44:01
The thought that lights up the chest of a sweet, dreaming man changes the world.
The order. The world is shaken by the cry that roars to the end of the universe.
(Again, any help from anyone who can understand Japanese would be greatly appreciated...)

An interview involving Yoh Yoshinari about the Chocolate Kedabera video clip. The three girls featured in the clip aren't meant to represent Ado, but when the three are in harmony they become a complete personality.
The sugar cube robots are called Sugar Machines.
The CG scenes created by GAZEN include an early scene in which the sugar machines (sugar cube-shaped robots) surround the main character, followed by a shot of a giant robot, a chocolate tunnel, and a 17-second dance scene at the end.

I did it! I finally finished my Gurren Lagann respect thread on SB! I poured all of my heart and all of my soul into this over years to make it as accurate as possible with all relevant context!

Of course, if any new important information comes up (as of course fixing broken links), I will update the relevant pages of the thread accordingly. And of course, continue to post them here. It has been an incredible journey.

A reupload of several of the panels from the Gurren Lagann Otoko manga, which confirm the series is set in a different dimension.

At the end of the Otoko manga, Simon from the main timeline absorbs the Otoko timeline (temporarily, so as to defeat the Anti-Spiral).

This is...

The high school student who piloted Gurren Lagann and protected modern Japan, a man named Kamino Kamina...

A Multiverse story.

So I asked a friend who can speak Japanese, and he translated this (thanks bro)! The text can read as two ways; either that this is a multiversal story of Kamino Kamina, or this is a story of the multiverse of Kamino Kamina.
This is the multiversal story of Kamino Kamina, a high school student who piloted Guren Lagann and protected present day Japan.

The original kanji is as follows...
神野神名という男の多元宇宙の物語

According to this thread, the galaxies = universes thing wasn't stated in Work Soul. I can't confirm because I can't find a JP pdf of Work Soul anywhere and the book is 70 dollars to order and 200 pages so no physical reading.

I still think galaxies = universes makes sense due to branes colliding creating a big bang

Yeah it doesn't really say that (something I've had to clear up myself, as I feel I'm responsible for this spreading around). There's still tons of multiversal feats in Gurren Lagann (even ignoring STTGL alltogether), and I'm still hoping to find more info on the Super Giga Drills (maybe I will track down the DVD commentaries)...

BTW, do you have any opinions on the Otoko stuff please?

the Otoko is that TTGL spinoff right? IDK much about trigger beyond TTGL. It's impressive but sadly noncanon I assume.

As for the galaxies = universes thing, it's moreso if each universe is a quantum multiverse like the main one, that means it's a megaversal feat. I think you can still argue megaversal due to the fact that STTGL is infinitely above TTGL in the final drill clash, but yeah.

It's canon in the Multiverse, and at the end of the manga we see Simon from the main timeline (though the manga adapts the first three arcs, the novels confirm this is across time as well as space; Nakashima also refers to Otoko as an important part of the Gurren Lagann multiverse, which I'll post here in the near future).

Gurren Lagann is already a megaverse too, as there's reference to different multiverses for different observers (something that's come through in the English translations of the Gurren Lagann Archive too), on top of all the quantum stuff.

From the last volume of the manga, Kazuki Nakashima describes Gurren Lagann Otoko as being 'an important part of the Gurren Lagann multiverse.'

And without a doubt, this has also become an important work that makes up the Gurren Lagann multiverse.
