The Yggdrasil (イグドラシル, Igudorashiru?) is a mystical cosmic tree that grew from the seed of creation and gave rise to all magic. The Yggdrasil was a huge tree of astronomical proportions, its branches encompassed the entire world and are even said to have held the stars and planets in place...

Back then, Yggdrasil's branches encompassed the entire world. Its branches held even the stars and planets in place. It was from there that witches drew their infinite magic.

In the anime of LWA, Leylines are required to travel between Luna Nova and the rest of England.

This backs up that Luna Nova being located in another dimension (something canon to the OVAs) seems to still be canon for the anime.

I forgot to mention that Luna Novis Academy manifests itself in a different dimension. In the normal wold, magic is slowly vanishing, but in the dimension they phase into, magic can be used freely. It makes me think that magic would have to be stowed away and used in a limited capacity.

It's also worth repeating that the power of the Ley Lines are so great that they warp space & dimensions (I've posted the quote a bunch of times but I'll try to post it again next time.) The quote roughly goes as thus though;

This world exists in a tangle of ley lines and complex magical forces. The superposition of space and dimensions is extreme. As such, some lands can't be reached by foot or vehicle.

In this world, where the mystical magic of the hidden world where legends give birth to legends was born and where thousands of years of history have accumulated, there are many lands engraved with legends. A forest where the ultimate magic is sealed by a megalith left by an ancient witch, ruins where dragons sleep, flowers that steak magical powers bloom, and a legendary witch's shrine... This world exists with Ley Lines and complex magical powers entangled, and space and dimensions overlapping occurs. Therefore, some lands cannot be reached on foot or by vehicle. They can be reached by passing through the entrances and exists of Ley Lines, magic gates, etc. For this reason, many legends are often left untouched for thousands of years. Therefore, dangerous magical beasts and magical plants exist in the wild, making it a place where ordinary people would feel in danger. However, if there is danger. there must be something valuable there that no one has obtained. Many witches and humans have passed through the Ley Lines in search of those legends, aiming for legends they have not yet seen. And their feats have been passed down and created more legends. We don't know if all of these legends are true. There may be misunderstandings or lies. But these legends became people's hopes and dreams. The true value of a legend lies in the desire to pursue it.

Woodward is one of the Nine Old Witches, and so ancient and powerful that she has begun to merge with Yggdrasil; she is a legendary witch who shines a divine light.

Woodward
A legendary witch who emits a divine light and watches over young witches. Having used magic for so many years, she has turned into a magical tree and begun to fuse with Yggdrasil. She appears before a young witch chosen by the seven-star wand "Claiomh Solais" and instructs them to collect the "Seven Words." She is also the founder of Luna Nova Magic Academy, and some of the magic school's instructors call her "Sensei."

Shiny Arc can unleash an immensely powerful arrow of light, capable of blowing up giant magical monsters or opening up holes in space-time to travel to distant places.

Shiny Arc
When the first word awakened, the rod transformed into a bow and arrow. By nocking the arrow on the rod, the user can fire a powerful arrow of light. Its power is immense, allowing the user to open a hole in space-time to travel to a distant place, or destroy a giant magical beast in a single blow. Shiny Chariot has performed this magic in shows, captivating many audience members.

The Shiny Arc can open up holes in dimensions and make monsters explode.

A magic spell that uses words to transform the Shiny Rod into a bow and then fires a magical arrow. It has the hidden power to make monsters explode or open holes in dimensions. Chariot also performed this spell in her own shows. Its overwhelming power captivated many fans. For Akko, it was one of the spells that Chariot had always admired, and it was also the first spell she herself had ever used.

Once upon a time, Spiral-bearing lifeforms, including humans, built a superscientific civilization on a pan-galactic level. The source was Spiral Power. With that infinite power that connects the Universe and life, both time and space where under our control.

A Giga Drill is a collection of materialized Spiral Energy. Gurren Lagann and Ark Gurren Lagann, which require enormous power, can be substantiated for a certain period of time during battle. This is because the operator's burden is too heavy. However, the Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann always wears their gigantic Giga Drills on both shouldiers. This is possible only if there is a transcendental spiral engine that produces Super Spiral Power. It was also a symbol of the overwhelming power of the Super Galay Gurren Lagann.

In the blink of an eye, the entire universe is destroyed. That's right. In front of Simon, the scene was exactly as the Anti-Spiral had told it, where the green light erupted from peoples bodies, becoming a galaxy and then becoming a super-galaxy cluster. It's a momentary event. The excess galaxy cluster was born instantly, and due to its enormous gravity time and space is crushed into a dimensionless point. The opposite of the Big Bang, the Big Crunch. All beings returned to nothing. In a moment. This is the Spiral Nemesis. It is the end of the Universe caused by Spiral Power. "No way..." Simon understood. Not only Simon. All living creatures aboard the Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann understood. Directly appealing to the brain, not words. And they were eaten by the Universe. Their consciousness was consumed by the labyrinth of the Multiverse that they could never escape.
