Initially it was to coast by, then he pushed you as easier slot to push today. He is going through motions, treading water essentially. Not sticking his neck too far out imo. He has been hedgy on a bunch of reads, his solving feels fake. Overall it looks like a wolf gameplan

I think it's just the nature of evolving roles that they're hard to win/play as

there is alot of confusion here so im outlining the above
i decided to be straight with poyser because he was being straight with me and trying hard to get into my head space. it'd be cruel to just go on and not give him something to work with. not to mention i was being a dick
there isn't a particular rhyme or reason aside from mild defeatism in the facetious posts i made vs thinking the fake claim would be of use to avoid outing my actual role. that proved to be an incorrect move, so i decided sincerity in the end was the only route
once i flip, in retrospect i think it will atleast show a tangible difference between being facetious and tongue in cheek VS feeling guilty enough to be genuine and approaching this kind of scenario honestly
obv im not gonna ever dick around again regardless of how irritable i am
