"1.Starscream's Laser (TF Prime)

In this video at around 7:30 minutes in the Autobots find out that Starscream has a laser that he plans to use to get to Energon. It is mentioned that if he uses it like they expect him to then the Sea level will rise enough to flood Coastal cities.

That said here is the calculation for how powerful that laser has to be.
Okay so Wikipedia tells me that to melt 1Kg of Ice you need 333.55KJ, however this only melts the ice, to raise the water from 0 to 20 degree's you also need 83.6KJ.

Okay that's our energy done, now we need to know the size of this glacier that Starscream wanted to melt. We know that it would be enough to flood coastal cities, so thats around the same size as the Greenland Ice sheet, which would increase sea level by 7.2m if it was fully melted. So that's around 2,850,000 cubic kilometres.

Now, for some maths:
The density of Ice is 0.9167 g/cm^3.

1 cubic kilometre is 1000000000000000 or 1*10^15 cubic centimetres. That means that in total there are 2850000000000000000000 CC of Ice, or in mass 2612595000000000000000 grams. That means there is 2612595000000000000Kg of Ice.

To find out how much energy is needed melt 2612595000000000000Kg of Ice you need this equation:

1Kg/333.55KJ
Substitute in our number which is 2612595000000000000Kg and you get 871431062250000000000KJ or 208277022.52629 Megatons of TNT.

That's not all however, as we also need to know how much energy it would take to raise the water to 20 degree's.

1Kg/83.6KJ
Sub in our number and you get 218412942000000000000KJ to raise the temperature that much.

Add the two together and we get 1089844004250000000000KJ or 260478.96851099 Gigatons of TNT.

We're not done yet however, as we need to know how much the output is per second. Stealth estimated 2 hours so that will be our high end, I'll estimate one full day as the middle and one week as a low end.

There are 3600 seconds in an hour, so that means there will be 7200 seconds for 2 hours or 86400 seconds in 24 hours or 604800 seconds in one week.

To get energy per second we just divide by the number of seconds it would take.

So saying that the low end is:
1089844004250000000000/604800 KJ per second.
1801990747767857KJ per second. In TNT this is 0.43 Gigatons per second.

The middle is:
1089844004250000000000/86400 KJ per second.
12613935234375000KJ per second. In TNT this is 3 Gigatons per second.

The high end is:
1089844004250000000000/7200 KJ per second.
151367222812500000KJ per second. In TNT this is 36.1 Gigaton per second.
Optimus tanked this for 6 seconds at about 18:40ish by my counting. So that gives him a durability of 2.58 Gigatons focused on his chest at the minimum...

Starscream Laser Speed
Decided to find a speed for this thing, because fuck it, I shall fill Mike's list even if it kills me.

The red bit is the platform+gun hegiht, which is roughly equal to Starscream, however I will take a low end of 6m.

Therefore 6m/17px = 0.35m/px

The green is the beams path which I have scaled to be 239px

Which means that the beam travelled 83.65m.

Next we need a time frame.
This is my first time using FPS but I think that it crossed it in 0.03s
Which makes the beam 2788.33 m/s or Mach 8.2

the highest fucker here is 1200px high or 31.38m from the ground.
going to assume that the time frame for that fucker to fall to the ground is the timeframe for the wave to reach this distance.
-fuckers are still free falling anyways, so this is a low-end if anything.
-time for ruyi jingu to hit ground is ignored here, so another low end.
time = 2.53s.
distance is 127.77px or 186.54km.
speed is 73,732.89m/s or Mach 217(God Form Kal Taek was also able to manipulate this tsunami and it looks like the wave barely moved while he lift his arm.
so that kinda applies to their reaction/combat speed).
KE = (.5)(8.855*10^17kg)(73732.89m/s)^2
KE = 575.3 Petatons.
*Kal Taek was able to manipulate this side of the Tsunami, so this kinda applies to him as well.

this is basically, an omnidirectional wave.
there's another on in both the upper and lower side, there should be in the other off panel side.
KE= 2.3 Exatons.
and to think that this is just a side effect of Riyu Jingu Falling Down.

apparently, this method was not calc stacking.
Kal Taek was struck by an extending Ruyi Jingu.
though he noticed it when the ruyi jingu has already expanded as long as 283.704km at most. (it was still extending at that point, until mo ri ordered the ruyi jingu to expand.)
anyways, Ruyi Jingu's Extension Speed is 57332999436.86m/s.
Kal Taek's Reaction Time is 0.0000049483543995s.
or roughly Mach 593.87/m.
he also moved a lot in between the time the ruyi jingu expanded.
so his movement speed is probably in the same ballpark if not faster.[/SPOILER][/QUOTE][/SPOILER]
