Saw a giant billboard near Times Square for Rings of Power yesterday. Feels like Woke City, not Numenor.

And then there's the underlying problem of trying to condense the entire Second Age, thousands of years, into just eight episodes. They should have just focused on the initial War of the Elves and Sauron first, since more seasons are apparently coming.

This is likely going to be one gigantic, truly expensive train wreck.
