since I used to have tendency of tunneling u when i find u scummy, u usually approach me early game which gives me the impression that u r okay being tunneled and u dont have much to lose and arent worried if i target u with any actions if i have themI don't see your point here, sorry.
I do think it might actually look worse on her for having claimed it so early especially given her state of nervousness isn't really explained by being an uninformed Mason
Forgive the setup spec - but not informing a Mason of their partner's player identity tells me there is a reason for the increased anonymity - the most obvious reason for this would be that the chat is split scum/town (as the benefit of two people solving out of thread is hamstrung). Given this, her desire to claim it so early and the anxiety that otherwise seems unjustified would make more sense if she were the scum half of the masonry. Lots of assumptions, sure, but it makes sense to me.@Ratchet
I do want to follow up with your line of thought, though:
I have my own considerations but could you elaborate on why it looks worse for her?
i think its more townie except the nervous partForgive the setup spec - but not informing a Mason of their partner's player identity tells me there is a reason for the increased anonymity - the most obvious reason for this would be that the chat is split scum/town (as the benefit of two people solving out of thread is hamstrung). let me guess. u and BLD rolled scum?
Yeah, but going by that assumption I just outed myself as scum for no reason. That makes no sense.Forgive the setup spec - but not informing a Mason of their partner's player identity tells me there is a reason for the increased anonymity - the most obvious reason for this would be that the chat is split scum/town (as the benefit of two people solving out of thread is hamstrung). The thought process checks out I guess. Counterpoint - in both cases, I interact with players early and they just happen to not be you.since I used to have tendency of tunneling u when i find u scummy, u usually approach me early game which gives me the impression that u r okay being tunneled and u dont have much to lose and arent worried if i target u with any actions if i have them
this leads me to read u slightly town, upon which u use to ur advantage and just dont interact with me afterward
in games where u avoid me i read u more scum, but in reality u just turn out town thats just observing first

I mean, if they are scum, then I do know one of their fake claims, so that‘s one fake they can never use.i think its more townie except the nervous part
and if the other person remained anonymous and doesnt come out with it later we can just assume they r the scum half
I'm not saying it *is* the case, just that it lines up. It would also explain the nervousness, and you're not exactly outed here, so...Yeah, but going by that assumption I just outed myself as scum for no reason. That makes no sense.

Agreed on the first part, nothing more to add there. And yes, I think as scum she would be more nervous and Masons will tend to get a bit of a pass anyway. In other aspects of her play, I was leaning more towards town. The WS folks have said this is a convention, so I'm not sure it's evident of anything. With more information about the set ups, maybe then you can speculate which inclusion is more likely, since scum/town benefits scum and town/town benefits town. You could argue that the element of anonymity itself handicaps the role a bit even if it is in fact town/town since there's apprehension about open coordination straightaway.
As for Flower, do you think her rolling scum Mason actually lends her to claim straightaway like that?
I'm saying that your defence that you wouldn't do something that outs you as scum doesn't hold up here, because you're not outed scum either way.I mean, I know I‘m Town.
BLD? What does BLD have anything to do with me?let me guess. u and BLD rolled scum?
ive read u town in elden ring from ur interactions with others bc as i was catching up we had the same thoughtsThe thought process checks out I guess. Counterpoint - in both cases, I interact with players early and they just happen to not be you.
