Unironically one of my favorite crossover fights :wow

Both thematically and in terms of being comparatively "fair" for either combatant, it's just perfect.

This theme goes hard too :mjpls

Yup, it’s inaccurate since the fight was pretty much over once Gogeta went Blue.

Completely one-sided to where Broly was getting ragdolled the whole time, failing to land a hit himself.

To Broly’s credit, his attacks were strong enough to warrant Gogeta to dodge every one of (compare that to Janemba who he took a straight punch to the face from he didn’t bother to even block) and as mentioned, Broly had no control or technique to Gogeta’s skills

Between that and how much it took from Gogeta to wear him down, I see Gogeta vs Broly in control of himself as being a lot harder but still a fight he edges out in the end unless it takes too long for the Fusion to last
SSJ Gogeta vs SSJ Broly still had the latter get some hits in, even if Gogeta was the better fighter

when both went to their highest forms, Broly couldn’t even touch Gogeta

yeah, there was a big gap in skill AND stats

That’s what I’m even thinking that quote was going by.

Broly vs Gogeta in their Super Saiyan forms was about even with Gogeta having the edge from better fighting technique. Broly going Legendary Super Saiyan (and likely even more out of control with himself) and Gogeta countering with SSB is where it all went downhill fast

So we streaming the elimination chamber tonight or not?

Honestly both chamber matches look shitty. But Roman vs. Sami should be unforgettable.

So we've got Roman vs. Sami and Brock vs. Lashley. Also I want to see Asuka run wild in the chamber. She better damn well win. That's the only real chamber draw for me.

The show starts at 8 right?

Bruh, don't forget what's gonna be happening with Brock and Bray. After Bray's promo on Smackdown, I'm convinced the Brock/Bobby feud ends tonight with Brock winning, and transitions into Brock vs Bray for Mania. And I'm fucking down. :mshad

Not a Bray fan at all to be honest. I hope Brock and Bobby have something hardcore at WrestleMania.

Meanwhile, this is the card Tony's giving us next week. LMAO.

If Tony doesn't give a shit, why should I?

If Tony doesn't give a shit, why should I?

People have been saying it recently but I've been saying it for years:

Tony seriously needs Writers who know what they are doing and Bookers.
AEW's biggest problem is not even trying to do actual fucking stories or characters anymore and is just doing "Dream Matches" and think that will get butts in seats.
Why should I give a fuck about Moxley outside of him being Dean Ambrose?(And constantly blading himself like a dumbass and being a worse Stone Cold Steve Austin impersonator than Sharkboy?)
What is the point of any of these matches? Do they actually elevate the superstars?
Like let me put into a decent example here, despite how WWE didn't strike while the iron is hot with him.
You guys know Braun Strowman? You know how the WWE decided to do with him the second he broke off from the Wyatt Family?
Nearly kill Roman Reigns:

This alone completely built him to the point that even after he left and WWE didn't strike while the iron is hot, even when Vince gave him some real dumb shit, fans STILL saw him as an absolute monster and someone to cheer for even now. He's more over than Ricochet, his tag partner and someone as good as Seth Rollins but unfortunately, his promo and character work is shoddy and is actually building him up well.

Everytime I see parts of AEW or even watch it, I never see this at all. I see they do stories from time to time and character work but dear fucking god, they do nothing to actually make you CARE about the person themselves.
For fuck's sake, MJF does the same thing again and again and again and again. His promos is the same shit, his angles are the same shit, this dude has potential and he's squandering it doing the same thing. He could be great and instead, he's shitting bronze because neither he nor does Tony want him to get bigger.
Wardlow? Same shit. Ricky Starks? Same shit. Miro? Same shit, etc, etc, etc.
Why should you care for AEW when they phone it in even harder than late 2010's WWE?
Atleast they show they give a fuck about the Intercontinental division again, look at fucking Gunther! They built this man so fucking well that you can see how he was able to last even longer than Rey Mysterio in the Royal Rumble and still look great against Cody Rhodes. They give you a reason to hate LA Knight or Austin Theory while still showing them as decent threats. Want NXT members to get someone fresh? Bring in someone from the Main Roster to give them a massive push.
AEW can't even do that with fucking Caesaro. Why should I care for AEW when WWE is actually righting the ship for once?

Like I'm seriously seconds away from going on an AEW tangent because it truly bothers me how people are now going on AEW's problems when I was mentioning it for years and I knew it was gonna hit fever pitch the second Punk basically went on his rant in the Scrum.

Any Superstars going over organically will usually have all of their heat wasted due to being dropped off the center of the Earth and nothing matters until the "next time". Happened to Wardlow, happened to MJF, happened to Bryan Danielson and so many others.

Even Jade Cargill literally exist in her own dimension as she gets an undefeated win streak... yet none of that shit matters when it absolutely should have.

Character work is a non-existent concept in AEW and no one naturally changes, it's just sudden heel or face turn that makes even the Big Show turns seem logical and no one learns shit. No one actually comes off like they are actually big and tough when Wardlow goes from being a monster... to having issues taking down OC to then losing to Samoa Joe and just ceasing to be. No one matters and it honestly infuriates me so much because we all want AEW to succeed... except for Tony Khan.

I don't even want AEW to be like WWE, they can take cues from early TNA, Lucha Underground, CHIKARA, NJPW for fuck's sake! But what the fuck is the point of a great match... if there's no story behind it to make you care?
I would take a million Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens in The Royal Rumble of this year that would get a 2.5 because Dave Meltzer is a hack over Kenny Omega fighting Bryan Danielson in a meaningless match for a meaningless belt but it gets that oh so "coveted" 5 star match rating.
