Meanwhile, this is the card Tony's giving us next week. LMAO.
Another pretty weak-looking card IMO with very little of note being given away before the PPV. The tag battle royale is for one of the two open spots in the Revolution four-way match. Aussie Open make their AEW return in this, while Butcher & Blade will tag on Dynamite for the first time in...

If Tony doesn't give a shit, why should I?
People have been saying it recently but I've been saying it for years:
Tony seriously needs Writers who know what they are doing and Bookers.
AEW's biggest problem is not even trying to do actual fucking stories or characters anymore and is just doing "Dream Matches" and think that will get butts in seats.
Why should I give a fuck about Moxley outside of him being Dean Ambrose?(And constantly blading himself like a dumbass and being a worse Stone Cold Steve Austin impersonator than Sharkboy?)
What is the point of any of these matches? Do they actually elevate the superstars?
Like let me put into a decent example here, despite how WWE didn't strike while the iron is hot with him.
You guys know Braun Strowman? You know how the WWE decided to do with him the second he broke off from the Wyatt Family?
Nearly kill Roman Reigns:
This alone completely built him to the point that even after he left and WWE didn't strike while the iron is hot, even when Vince gave him some real dumb shit, fans STILL saw him as an absolute monster and someone to cheer for even now. He's more over than Ricochet, his tag partner and someone as good as Seth Rollins but unfortunately, his promo and character work is shoddy and is actually building him up well.
Everytime I see parts of AEW or even watch it, I never see this at all. I see they do stories from time to time and character work but dear fucking god, they do nothing to actually make you CARE about the person themselves.
For fuck's sake, MJF does the same thing again and again and again and again. His promos is the same shit, his angles are the same shit, this dude has potential and he's squandering it doing the same thing. He could be great and instead, he's shitting bronze because neither he nor does Tony want him to get bigger.
Wardlow? Same shit. Ricky Starks? Same shit. Miro? Same shit, etc, etc, etc.
Why should you care for AEW when they phone it in even harder than late 2010's WWE?
Atleast they show they give a fuck about the Intercontinental division again, look at fucking Gunther! They built this man so fucking well that you can see how he was able to last even longer than Rey Mysterio in the Royal Rumble and still look great against Cody Rhodes. They give you a reason to hate LA Knight or Austin Theory while still showing them as decent threats. Want NXT members to get someone fresh? Bring in someone from the Main Roster to give them a massive push.
AEW can't even do that with fucking Caesaro. Why should I care for AEW when WWE is actually righting the ship for once?
