There's too much mechanical stuff in his favor for it to make sense ekko. Just accept he mailed it in.
ur wasting ur time if u think a day will come where i accept mechanical info / role claim over something from thread

But does he even -need- to wolf read you?

In theory you’re the safest shot possible

If youre town youre just a stump
If you’re scum then who cares

Yours is literally the first time I’ve seen a stump with another role - there’s nothing inherently wrong with that but town rb is a hard role to play well

If you think of it through that prism, it’ll make sense I promise
No, he doesn't need to wolf read me, except if I was role blocker, I'd only ever try and role block my top wolf reads.

I understand that I'm a safe place to use the role block on in theory.

Literally first time I've ever seen stump paired with something else as well.

I do think it makes sense why Tweet blocked me if he's town, but I'm allowed to have my hesitations, yeah? I'm still not feeling two role blockers in this game, though. Magic can be wolf as well with a cooked up idea that there were multiple role blockers last game. I think that a wolf Magic would also be strong enough to pull off a fake role block claim after Tweet said he stopped me (Tweet was either role block or jail keep). If Magic is wolf, he either puts a town Tweet in the awkward position of having to call himself a role block as well and Magic successfully creates confusion as well as saying 'multiple role blocks this game!' or Tweet claims as jail keep, making Tweet more of a target, and if he does actually flip jail keep, Magic can argue why there is a jail keep and role block in the game. I think a fake role block claim is a power move a wolf Magic could pull off.

ur prefered direction last day flipped town, u surely wanna approach wagons with this attitude now?
I mean, my preferred direction was a lot of players preferred direction. What does that have to do with my statement? I don't see much of an appetite to lynch the vig, so I'm not going to be lynched. And I know I'm the tree stump, so I'm never leaving this game.

dont get me wrong tho i love mechanical info and stuff

but they have to support conclusions that i can draw about the player from thread, otherwise id 10/10 throw the mechanical info down the drain

my pet peeve in games r town players who think they can play scummy or do w.e because a role or some mechanic can clear them

Think of it this way

CP is likely the cop, but he was among my wolf reads earlier - if I were the blocker and I blocked him, problems all round

The fail state of blocking you was very unlikely to be bad, hence making it a good choice

u gave one before that told me nothing, could u give me a proper one pls

the main difference between our views is ur town read of cp that came prior to the cop claim
Craig has always hovered between town and wolf for me this game before his claim. I initially thought Craig was town because I gave him some townie points for his read an explanation on Melkor (same with Tweet). Then I thought he was handling my slot with some bad faith, so he teetered a little into wolf territory. However, he tried to be a focal and loud talking point by EOD and I don't know if that's something work Craig would do, so then he flipped back into town territory. I thought his opening of D2 was slightly pingy because he flipped his read on me while saying he trusted me (a hint I didn't really pick up on), though that wasn't quite enough to tip him back into wolf territory. Then he claimed and I believed him and his usage, which put Craig firmly into my town column.

tweet blocking u imo is townier than magic abstaining given his position and self thoughts on his own town reads being good

No, I think any time a role that gets auto cleared comes up, you are compelled to challenge it in the vague hope it’ll be one of the few times it’s a fake claim - you’re chasing a roulette win, oblivious to the losses you take on the way as you rationalise it as the player not meeting some arbitrary standard that is consistently above whatever they happen to be doing

You’ll deny it I’m sure

I don't really think I'm mailing it in, though. When pressed, I have been able to clarify answers and give some further thought to where my brain is at; Ekko knows this. It's the same as Ultra calling me a wet noodle last game; Ekko knows I'm trying to switch up my town game because I've explicitly stated so. He gave Psychic a pass because she apparently had said she wanted to switch up her town meta as well, but Ekko has given me no such grace despite me saying multiple times I wanted to try a different style on this forum. Ekko is also starting to argue with me AFTER I voted him. Yeah he's called my reads mailed in earlier, but the big post of mine he just quoted and dissected he had already responded too earlier and didn't do much with it; he's reacting now instead of being proactive before. I also don't believe him calling me wolf all of a sudden feels that natural.

ok i stopped reading here

then what the fk r u suspecting me for? ur post about me being a potential powerwolf came for thinking craig is town. if u cant establish that properly before his claim then u had no proper direction, and usually u belive in threadplay more than role so what gives with u moving to cp to town just for the claim

last day fang claimed Voyeur and u went RIGHT THROUGH IT like he didnt say aything so why is a cop any difference

I think you say this just to protect your wolf range. I have a cop check on me and I claimed vig on a missing kill, which had Tweet instantly responding that he blocked me. I have multiple things that mechanically line up for me.

thats not how i think otherwise id be town reading cp when game starts and then swapping my read after his cop claim hoping to get it right :doge

There’s multiple vanilla claims already - you are the 4th I believe?
Tbh, I am not too familair with Ratchet's setups, so idk how many vanillas he might use and if they are tied to roles that interact with Vanillas. I can guess that may be and idea. But a vanilla can also be a fake claim for a goon.
Who are the other claimed vanilla?
