I don't think yourself or Whicker have done anything to promote a lynch on D1.

I still town read Ekko. And Ratchet potentially might be doing too much, and could also potentially be mafia.

I'm not goi g to give you a summary because I don't think I can do so in a way that would be useful. If you're going to make a concerted effort to play this game you're going to have to read - from you I'd like you to be responding to things as you go through the thread, a live catchup if you will.

What do you mean "might be doing too much"? Could potentially be Mafia doesn't say anything to me - what are *your* thoughts?
 
The emotional reactions, especially coming off last game,make me think ratchet is town. He might be this grumpy as scum if he was being pushed by what he considered shit, but it does seem like genuine frustration.

@CraigPelton it was this sequence. in his first post he said he had identified aurelian and if bpd is town to drop it because he doesn't want TvT dragging down the thread. so in that post it was an 'if you're town', which is fair enough.

in the subsequent posts bpd continues arguing with aurelian/slight pushing him and yet it doesn't actually change ekko's thoughts whatsoever and he grows more adamant it's TvT. he's not even saying why he finds bpd town for any of this(until i asked) just repeatedly calling it TvT and saying it's bad. the progression for the read isn't there at all, there was nothing there that would make him think bpd is town nor does he mention anything yet he's stuck calling it TvT. from a town perspective id imagine there would be some progression there or at least a comment about why bpd looks town in the back and forth but he was just stuck on repeat.

then there's the leadership style he's inserted himself in. he's done better lately in games. on page 1 i asked him not to clog the thread. he said he hadn't been doing that in recent games. he then starts doing it, trying to take control and the reins, and being in the forefront saying he's going back to elden ring/GOT style(btw both of which weren't exactly great games by him from all accounts and i remember him and tpein just tunneling the fuck out of me as town in that game because i claimed a purple faction). as scum it makes sense for him to be more at the forefront to try to dictate the way day goes.

also just looking over his posts again i dont like how he just said gramm can go if he doesnt cooperate with him. he did the same with you and ratchet touched on this too. he knows that neither of you will cooperate with him and it isn't alignment indicative but it gives him an excuse to push you down the line for shit that doesn't actually give your alignment.


if anyone wants me to explain the whicker case i can do so as well.

i'll read back from like halfway through the thread from where i was, but i didn't find ratchet scummy and thought he looked town from where i was. his play here isn't really similar to what i saw from him in jkk.

Yo, just got to it. Basically Muugen/Lee vs Fang (whatever) being called T/T thing. This could very well be a slip, but i could see Town Ekko assuming DPD is town without saying it out loud.

This whole "i won't talk with this person" or "town would do better if this person is out, even if they're town" is childish af, whoever does it. I don't see it as alignment indicative though.

Does it give me a pause, yeah, but i'm not comfortable with voting him based mostly on this thing. I get your point though. I'd rather have him checked, like Ratchet. Not sure which one should be checked first tbh.

After a few games on this site - perhaps I will have more chance of understanding other players meta.

I mean I'd be frustrated anyway no? I feel like it would be genuine frustration as scum just as much as it currently is as town.

I mean honestly Magic regardless of my alignment being up for a lynch Day 1 is very frustrating because I don't think it's at all earned. I don't think it's very arrogant of me to suggest that when Town I'm capable enough to be helpful to my alignment, so gambling on a Day 1 lynch for that just seems shit to me. Actually if you factor in that I've never been lynched as scum Day 1 I'd be even more frustrated over this. I don't know I don't think that's a good reason to read me as town here.

I mean it's the correct read but I'm not seeing where you get to alignment from that.

Not scummy, but of all the players in the game I think you're the one I would hold this expectation of and I don't like that I'm not seeing it.

I'm saying this now because last game when I asked you your read on me you neglected to give one, and I accepted that without voicing my inner concern which was you'd just seen me as scum and thus should have good insight on that game. You were scum of course but that was a misplay on my part hence why I'm posting this now.

I’ll address this before the days out because it deserves a proper reply, but the short version of it is unlike magic, I’m not detecting genuine emotion in the way you’re representing it - I’ve no doubt you’re probably irritated which is an occupational hazard of playing alongside ekko etc

To be honest, I’d welcome you articulating these concerns you have in a bit more detail

that's the fine im getting walking into the party so late, i don't really think he'd fake this and play 3D chess telling dest he's holding his tongue
that's one town tell of his i think i can read okay, differentiating from legit frustration because he's not getting through and frustration because he's been caught by a strong analytical player and closed to deaths row etc etc
