Also, again, it's Grant Morrison. Any single feat he does you have to read 100 of his other works to fully contextualize or you're just coming up with headcanon. I'm going to have to sit down and (sigh) read New 52 to see what this is about.

I like Raven more, but it really sounds like Jean should have won. DB is owned by Warner Brothers I am starting to think if they can find a way for DC to win they will.

Seeing this made me realize...

@Stocking Anarchy what's the highest interpretation you can get Simon would it be enough to take on what Death Battle considers Trigon level beings (Because that's the level they're gonna end up scaling White Lantern Kyle to because Nekron is from the Godsphere)?

The real major reasonings were:

-Both scales to destroying their entire cosmologies so power and speed was equal

-Several of their haxxes and abilities cancelled one another out (telepathy, time manip, energy absorption, etc)

-Raven can regenerate from her soul’s complete destruction (mid godly regen) and this could come back from essentially anything Jean could do to her.

-Meanwhile Jean didn’t actually have much in terms of soul Manip resistances and couldn’t come back from complete soul destruction via just the Phoenix itself (the Phoenix itself couldn’t restore Jean’s soul when it was shattered), and the Phoenix itself being utterly destroyed would take too long to resurrect (anywhere from days to centuries. Too long for DB win standards).

They are hopefully not going to do Zamasu vs Gorr because we all know how it will end and most DB fans don't want another lost that's basically the same response as the last few.

Also Oropo vs Goku Black has a shitton of coreography potential. Both have time manipulating devices. Both use blades, energy blasts, and have forms to use. It would work great. It is also arguably more thematic than even Eobard Thawne vs Goku Black, both are twisted future versions of one of the few survivors of a dead alien race who tried to destroy all the gods.

I don't see black coming back because what's there to even cover given we did virtually everything with him vs Thawne and he's practically dead for good

I don't see them do Zamasu anytime soon

Even the most generous interpretations of Guts would get stomped.

Speed difference doesn’t surprise me since they’ll likely have Guts be at least a lightning timer and there have been even greater differences than that between combatants on DB but that kind of power on top of it… yeah this looks like an easy bet for Dimitri

Unlike that Captain Marvel, I actually like Goku Black and hoping if he does come back, it won’t be to get stomped again.
 
Pros and cons of Goku Black vs Oropo
+Even more thematic than GB vs RF. Goku Black vs Reverse Flash was insanely thematic, but Oropo vs Goku Black is somehow even more thematic
+A lot of top tier banter, maybe not as great because Eobard is a gold mine, but still will be fun
+Choreography potential is basically perfect, they all have complementary abilities and skills to make the fight just as diverse and unique (if not more) than GB vs RF
+Gives Wakfu time to shine because it has a cult following already and just needs one mainstream appearance to hopefully get it going
+Gives Goku Black a win in the end, while also showing how dangerous Oropo can be from his hax possibly making people be interested in Wakfu
-Wakfu is obscure
-Goku Black already aired in his most popular matchup

Tbf she had MCU shit when it was at its peak and Shazam has a movie coming out as well

Black is not up there in terms of a Runback and he has nothing to offer that would be different
Also we got the big names left that haven't been on
