You guys been watching the Seven Spellblades anime? If so what are your thoughts so far?
It's okay. I think the first episode left a pretty whatever impression but it's been improving since then and it's one of those rare few JC Staff anime where they're clearly putting a bit more effort into the visuals and production values, which is nice to see. The content kind of feels like Hogwarts in Nasuverse.

I'd call it above average for now.

Fair enough I definitely was surprised from the last episode
was not excepting him to kill the teacher that actually shocked me didn't think this would turn into a revenge scenario
. However decent so far is definitely got hogwarts aesthetic appeal to it.

The Pokemon Company just throwing out anything to see if it'll bring them some money for the year lol
I'm not sure how it's getting so much praise honestly. I feel like fans wanted not-Ash for so long that they're just happy with any slop.

The production values are fine, but the characters besides Captain Pikachu and MAYBE the villains all suck and it's a nothing burger of an adventure with two protags that make early anime Ash look like an amazing trainer.

I think an interesting aspect to that whole thing is that he is who he betrays himself as. He's for the most part as skilled as he says and he's not hiding a secret personality, but he's just also involved in that
conspiracy
.

True didn't think of it like that. Also the animation is definitely beautiful supposedly this is from a new anime studio but honestly it looks a bit like some animation from Fate, which I'm not complaining love Fate and it's beautiful animation. However heavily reminds me of it.

How is JC Staff new? They're clearly just doing a different type of compositing (similar in some ways to what you see in Sword Art Online from its movie onward) with some effort thrown in here and there like with the Garuda fight.

I heard supposedly it was a new anime studio but I was skeptical as fuck. Cause it didn't seem right.

Are you watching The Girl Who Wears Glasses this season as well?

You mean Suki na Ko Megane wo Wasureta? Yeah I am.

The girl is cute but the premise wore off overly quickly because she just comes off as a retard after the first time or two. Even idiots won't not realize that they can't see correctly.

Yeah I get that lol the appeal definitely wore off after awhile. I wanted to watch cause the animation CGI looks honestly phenomenal lol

Gohands are a weird studio where their shit either works weirdly well or absolutely does not. The first ep started off uncannily, but I think they've recovered since.

the animation is amazing and if you love the animation I suggest to watch "The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today". same studio but more faithful and less overloaded than the glasses girl.

the glasses girl anime did compeltely revamp the manga, GoHands tends to use their own interpretation on art and such
but it's not bad

Any decent anime right now? I usually watch vintage shit but I'm down for something fresh too.
there are some anime out there that are kinda...covering a wide range of tastes and fans.
Zom 100 is something amazing if you like zombies, but it is still airing

idk what's wrong with it, you kinda sound like hating towards the pokemon anime in general

The production values are probably peak OLM/pokemon at it's strongest, the outro is sung by the cast, this time the voice actors are AMAZING.
The protags are so flexible but also so deep...they are 10 year old kids and seem lost or weak at times, but damn every episode the characters in some way or form progress, or you learn more about them. Dawg last episode...I would reflect on it and maybe give it one more try. When will there be another chance where you might see such a classic and nostalgic, but new adventure unfold? For me it's hard to find nowadays...a 12 episode seasonal is almost never satisfying the aspect of adventure as I would need it.

Fair enough, they do have decent CGI sometimes I can't stand CGI but that's my own personal preference from it. That sounds familiar I'll have to check it out.

My watch list is long as fuck need to watch more on it.
