I dont have a problem with Ultra this game. Only point I give you there was he hadn't given more town reads, but that's not something I think has to be scummy. He's been thinking along the same lines I have which is generally a good thing!

I'm surprised you don't see what I'm getting at. I did say the trolling wasn't this bad, but in there he made repeated excuses for not reading the thread, focused on flavour and silliness and just tunnelled away. I can see similarities, particularly with the first two things. Need to read that Gogeta game Ekko mentioned because apparently that was better on this (think he was town there though)

I am but a simple man, but as I understand Ratchet is saying he does not want to lynch you. Though I agree that him keeping his vote on you for most of the phase where it is not going anywhere is not a good look, even though he says he has other methods to scumhunt.

Actually hold on, I just went to check Avatar as a point of reference. Fang didn't claim, it's true - but he wasn't even lynched. In fact, he was killed because he had less posts in the game than the hosts did. I dunno if there was some gaming to that but he wasn't as far as I can tell lynched after refusing to not claim. That's the point I was giving there earlier - he would refuse but when it absolutely comes down to it, he would ultimately claim. He wouldn't just take the lynch.

@Magic How does your example apply to what I said there at all? Are you even reading what you're evidencing?

wats ur point here? if hes under pressure hes likley to claim as either alignment unless u can find a scum game of his where he decided not to claim and get himself yeeted

I still think Cubey is coasting scum. Polar Bear looks scummy to me, made half-assed stab at Ultra and disappeared.

Also retracting my town lean on Ultra. Maybe "Melkor cannot get away with it" is actually his scum tell, he has not used it for a long time but I remember it from at least one game he was scum and i was town. It was not here though.

I find his ‘helpfulness’ to be extremely artificial, to the point that I suspect it’s to come off reasonable and pleasant to a large number of players who don’t really know him

Good point, kinda further goes to show that Magic jumped the gun on this one. I'm pretty good at reading Aurelian, he's obviously way more clammy as scum but he's never acted quite like this, or openly bragged about not reading. I feel he's more likely to obscure the fact that he doesn't have any clue what he's actually talking about about as town. Just calls Gram suspect instead of dropping a small novel on him
