Take Midora, dude is so fucking stacked with overpowered BS he’s copied, he’s solidly a stomp or gets stomped character pretty much unless you can pair him with an opponent in his weight class whose insanely resilient to all sorts of things

All because they mistook a ki move Akuma used as a pure physical strike (so by their own logic, Akuma can’t physically do that). And even then, destroying a plateau wouldn’t make you physically stronger than Z Goku lmao. Goku’s been knocking down plateaus without any ki blasts since the fight with Vegeta

Now in defense to the nerds, DBZ fanboys in turn did get predictably cocky to outright toxic to the insane new gains DBS gave it.

Especially on Comicvine which was a total shitshow throughout DBS’ air time. Everything from wanking Dragon Ball Super to doing everything possible to downplay the other side when it’s a character or setting Dragon Ball still has no business beating

For one it's not hard to wrap your head around and for another thing defining Immortality as a "Shield to protect your mortality" is quite frankly asinine.

When it comes to things in relation to concepts meaning tends to hold more sway and by definition Immortality and Mortality are direct opposite in meaning. Immortality isn't a "Sheild" to protect mortality by definition it is a lack of the aformentioned mortality but due to our relatively broad categorization of what is considered "Immortality" and what qualities are inherent to mortality it varies a lot in fiction.

You're over complication what's very basic - Simply put there are 2 qualities "Immortality" and "Mortality" possesing one of these qualities in some sense inherently means lacking the other in some complementary way due to their direct opposite meaning.

There's some wiggle room when it comes to Immortality and Mortality because what we qualify/consider as immortality actually varies a lot ranging from simple having an inexhaustible lifespan while still being able to die through external conditions to other more complex situations like being able to reincarnate/ressurect, body snatching after critical damage or ... lacking the concept of death etc.

What Tiamate has is a lack of the concept of death which on it's own simply serves to immunize her from methods of instant death supernaturally brought about on her that do not forcibly impose that concept on her first while supplementing her regenerative type immortality.

Her lacking the concept of death still falls under the categorization of "Immortality" because immortality just inherently means lacking mortality - The degree to which a being posseses immortality is subject to how their immortality functions so naturally lacking death would be subcategorized as a form of "immortality".

Lacking the concept of death doesn't mean she's beyond immortality - The very notion of lacking the concept of death is just inherently a form of immortality.

That is NOT what "Lacking the Concept of Death" means and it's hilarious that he goes on this spiel acting as if it's just "another form of immortality" when there are Nasuverse characters that are canonically immortal yet still can be affected by the concept of death...

I already said it before but to summarize:

To Lack the Concept of Death is to basically show you don't have a "definitive end".
It's not the same as "If I shoot you, you die" because we have seen multiple times that even with The Black Barrel in Notes, you cannot truly kill an Ultimate One despite the very weapon hitting you with the equivalent of a limited lifespan for beings that are immortal. Even destroying their bodies doesn't count as a true death as they still exist in other forms(aka look at Crimson Moon Brunsterd still living through his True Ancestors and somehow came back in the Notes timeline according to Nasu).

That's precisely the issue with trying to enforce stuff like that without having any idea of how it works:
You just look like a dumbass who believes they know better.
