Would getting a speed for the ki Goku gathered for the Genkidama against Buu be valid? There is a cut yeah, but they seem to reach from earth to where he is instantly.

I know the official timeline has Trunks’ birthday 24 days after Kid Buu’s death, but I don’t know if Tori and the other writers had that in mind

Apparently another source says Trunks’ birthday is in November, which makes it 7 months after Buu. That actually falls line with the wish that humanity had their memories wiped after the Buu saga, since the DBs are stone

Gohan never deteriorated by BoG, he could still tap into Ultimate at will
Doesn’t have to. He just didn’t train and remained stagnant. Like how after Cell Gohan just remained as strong as he was when he was a boy and Goku was stronger because he kept up training.
