i saw that this forum tore into SeventhMoon/ZGTFreak’s ridiculous seperate canons ideal (yes, they’re the same person. I can prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt.)

So I would like to link this thread where my friend debunked them, and they ended up crying like babies

I’m surprised ZGTfreak is doing anything at all these days after he got exposed for manipulating the mods on CV into banning people he didn’t like

Here’s zgtfreak (Moon Cell Admin) boasting about how he was able to manipulate the mods into getting someone he argued with perma banned by spamming the site with dupe accounts imitating them.

Both have really dumb arguments. Not all arguments but some specific ones are something.

So in this case it's idiocy where two people yell at each other to prove their point.

Yeah, we saw that and we basically laughed at it as well. Like it's one thing to basically have issues with how the Nasuverse Canon works because alot of Nasu's works never got officially translated and it's only now is that beginning to somewhat change(The fact we got Witch On The Holy Night, Tsukihime Remake and F/SN officially translated in 3 years at long last is a freaking miracle as well as Hollow Atraxia on the way). It's a whole ass different can of worms to say that there's separate canon because he deliberately misinterpreted a simple ass statement Nasu said and then used that to push an agenda that doesn't even begin to make sense.

Like nothing about what Nasu stated in the past truly got changed, it either got clarified(The Timelines which are still infinite but cannot be sustained infinitely and just has to be cut down to a "decent degree" every 100 years and this isn't counting the completely different outside universes that have been talked about and stated in FGO) or literally never changed.

could you elaborate on what arguments of mine you found “dumb” in particular?

If it’s the MEODP one, here’s a simple piece of evidence to prove they’re not the same:

Tohno’s eyes can stop seeing death just by covering them with something as simple as a blindfold.

Ryougi can still see death, even if she completely tears her eyes out.

To be fair, that's most likely old continuity and the fact that it is stated that Shiki Tohno's eyes will outgrow that and he will die eventually due to info overload in comparison.
Though don't mistake that for non-canon(Type-Lumina explicitly goes with it still being canon overall) but Shiki Tohno does do some shit in the Remake with MEoDP that's on Ryougi's tier and it's basically MEoDP rather than Pure Eyes that ultimately became such due to his brush with death.

But this is someone who ultimately didn't do a true deepdive into the OG Tsukihime so you can take what I said about the above with some salt, I know there are people in here who know OG Tsukihime better than me who can say otherwise.

Also @sonnenkind I did a bit of a lookup and you aren't wrong but you aren't correct either when it comes to Shiki Tohno having Pure Eyes rather than the MEoDP.
The Nanaya Clan does tend to have Pure Eyes through the act of "Sweet Home Alabama" and Shiki Tohno got the MEoDP with his brush with death. But it's also stated the MEoDP is basically a combo between Mystic Eyes and Pure Eyes.
Also, Shiki Ryougi ALSO get MEoDP by her nearly dying as well but due to her connection to her Void Self and the Root, she literally cannot turn it off but it's also weird because yeah, Shiki Tohno can somehow resist the MEoDP with a bandana and not Mystic Killers after awhile which is odd but I tend to put that towards it being a pitch towards the old Tsukihime Continuity.

Even in Lumina, Ushi goes out of her way to call them “Pure Eyes”.

(also tbh, that death boundary is far better than anything ryougi has done with her eyes)

There’s also a paragraph from KT that implied that Shiki was the result of the Nanaya’s research being successful,rather than something purely innate like Ryougi

Though their powers are similar yet fundamentally distinct, it may be misguided to compare them. Even so, Kiri understands he falls short by that very standard.
Only those who have made "death" a finality can oppose this demon.
But Kiri—who merely researched death and lacked it from the very beginning—could never ascend to such heights.
If anything could rival this demon, it would be something broken from birth, just like the demon himself.

It makes sense for pure eyes to be related.
