I have to echo your earlier statement on how annoying it is that Miyazaki is still pushing this nihilistic treatment of characters in the story to where you have almost no way to reverse at least some of their fate. I can only hope the cut content with the Twins, which also involved more content for Melina can be explored in the DLC.

Yeah sure but if there was more story content for her it would be nice to do something more with it before she dies. Like at least reunite her with her brother so she can pass away in her last moments with him, preferably if it involves maybe summoning her as an ally against Mogh/Mohg beforehand to get some payback on the degenerate. Can be tragic yet at least bittersweet in a way.

Well 1, it's not like there are not already people you can summon who already have scarlet rot who don't effect you so long as you have the right protection and 2, Mohg is an open degenerate who regularly backstabs people on the whim so why even question what he will do?:catskully
