You suspect? Bruh, I'm pretty sure that's evident at this point. The only piece of DB media you could argue this not being the case for is BOG, because Toriyama didn't want the last piece of official DB film media associated with him to be that gutter trash hollywood remake. That was the last time I felt any kind of passion for the DB product throughout. After this, Toriyama saw the numbers it did, saw his bank account zeroes jump, and went, "Eh, I could milk this for another few years. Why not?"
