I mean hell, even I largely based my idea for Twilight Sparkle's NP on Unlimated Blade Works, right down to including a chant, which itself was largely adapted from an actual speech Twilight made in the show when first using the Elements. But that's Fate in general, you can see people taking inspiration from it for abilities all over the place. Like that Equestria Girls/Bleach story I was reading, Rarity's Fullbring started out as basically being Shirou's trace ability, then it was Unlimated Blade Works, and the mastered version was a mix of UBW and Iskander's NP (Chapter was even named after his music theme). Kinda happens when your series is loaded with cool as fuck abilities.

Hard agree on that. It's funny, despite technically being a better version of the same thing, Gate of Babylon isn't nearly as cool as Shirou's weapons' factory. :maybe

Inquisitors on his tail for that long but somehow Darth Vader doesn't find him? Sure Disney, whatever you say. 🤣 Yes and let's also ignore the fact that, as the Empire still uses the Senate as it's main system of controlling the star systems under its control, this would be the type of thing they would step in to stop at this point in time. I mean they didn't dissolve the senate until the start of A New Hope so letting Senator daughters get kidnapped isn't in their best interests here. Yeah my brain is hurting just from the nonsense you're telling me, I can only imagine how bad it is to actually watch it.

Expecting someone from TFS to have a half-decent take on anything Dragon Ball related. :kobeha Reminder these guys when they were playing one of the One Piece games, claimed HxH characters would steamroll One Piece ones. :maybe

Jesus Happy Chaos is so damn BORING to watch, I already want the Zatos to come back. People can say what they want about Lab Coat 21, she at least has some swag to her combos (and comes with two other characters so it's not JUST her) so I don't feel like I'm being put to sleep watching her like with this cheap gun bitch. Uninformed pleb: But you used to love watching Arbiter in Killer Instin... ARBITER wasn't braindead, nor could he reload for free. He also wasn't really a zoner and that's ignoring the fact NO ONE in Killer Instinct was boring. That was a hype game in general, all the characters had some cool stuff to them, so the game was top tier from a spectator's stand point. Happy Chaos is just shit.

Where is your honor dirtbag? You are an absolute disgrace. You don't deserve to even be associated with Power Rangers, much less be a Ranger after this shit. 😡 The Power will protect you no more, Austin.

Especially considering how large Digimon evolution lines are. You can cover 6 Digimon in a single evolution line, so there's no reason not to get at least several hundred in there, including as many fan favourites as you can. But they seem to be stuck in trying new things every time, which again is good in its own way, but there is a reason Pokemon has stayed as big as it has, for as long as it has. The formula works. :maybe

Think it's funny though. The Cyber Sleuth games had a sort of SMT feel to them, from the sheer scope of the multiversal shenanigans, to the age of the characters and even specific references like going through TVs and stuff. Survive? > Mostly visual novel format. > THREE main story routes. > Darker story overall I appreciate them trying different things but stepping on Fate's toes isn't going to get you anywhere as you'll just be compared to them. :maybe

I agree with you but it seems they wanted to go hard on the story and the themes of it, which is why they limited it to Digimon that fit the theme. As long as the story and characters are good enough to warrant the sacrifice, I'll forgive it but the game's going to have to really impress me on those aspects since they are the main focus. It'd be an absolute nightmare trying to balance even 500+ Digimon in a single game though. But obviously I wouldn't having a game with access to most if not all of them, just for the factor of being able to play all my favourites.

I think it was limited because they wanted to stick to the theme of you encountering monsters from another world, from the way he describes it as "widllife", I get the impression it's going to be mostly biological Digimon. Hopefully they do give it the DLC treatment 'cause that is a pretty low number. Especially given even the original Cyber Sleuth had over 200 Digimon.

Yep you can get more Digimon BTW, 113 to be exact.

Well here's hoping. I don't know, they said it would be based on choices the player makes but that may only apply to the human characters' Digimon. Apparently the majority of the game will be story and interacting with other characters. In an interview they said the ratio of visual novel to tactical battles is 7:3. The interview's on the website there under news (titled Q&A session). Definitely. TBF the only new form for Masaru was Shinegreymon, the Geo Greymon line had appeared in manga form before hand (with Victory Greymon as the Ultimate). So maybe, or it could be that you can switch between lines depending on the choices you make.

I dig his forest version of Falcomon though. Hopefully he isn't just a palette swap and he gets some unique forms of his own. Ikuto and Falcomon were top tier quality in Digimon Savers so seeing Falcomon get more love would be nice.

Well I heard about it years ago (it got delayed super hard). It's coming out July 28 in Japan, 29 everywhere else. On the same day as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 so there's some stiff competition. It looks interesting from what I've heard of it, there's gonna be multiple story routes based on player choice (this also dictates the evolutions the Digimon get, although the partners themselves are set) and the gameplay is Final Fantasy Tactics style which I've never tried so that'll be fun. I'm also interested in the next Digimon Story game which will apparently heavily feature the Olympus XII in the story (fucking FINALLY) although that's all we know about it. I'm always ready for more Digimon though. :maybe
