Ah I see at least what he's trying there, but it's unnecessary (and stupid). Majin Buu IS at least a relative glass cannon (though he still straight tanks attacks occasionally), that much can't be denied. The obvious issue with SB's logic, is that this doesn't magically make the rest of the cast glass cannons. In fact most of them can be clearly demonstrated to NOT be glass cannons. It'd be like using 02 Cherubimon to say all Digimon (at least Adventure ones) are glass cannons. He himself definitely is one, given he can one shot Holydramon and Seraphimon with a double-axe handle yet their weaker forms could severely damage him, but that doesn't make other Digimon (who blatantly can tank attacks from others on their level) suddenly glass cannons.

While I don't necessarily think you have to take NO damage at all for it to count as tanking (only taking minor damage should still count), how the fuck are you "tanking" if the attack puts a hole straight through you? Your brother IS aware of how a Tank is supposed to work right?

Probably less that they're "peachy" and more that they just don't want to go to war with them again if they can avoid it. But yeah, the fact THEY try to kidnap Hinata, but the Leaf village has to drop a body because Hinata's father rightfully killed the cunt trying to kidnap her. Doesn't make any sense. There's no universe there where the Cloud village isn't the one who has to bend over to appease the Leaf, not the other way around.

It's especially weird because they had the restraint not to have Ryo be the second GX representative so they can have more Cyber Dragons (another popular archetype), they actually allowed Asuka to get some screen-time which was nice. Just wish they'd given Aki the same benefit. Like even if she was there along with Crow, so they could have their Blackfeathers, but nah we gotta stick with Team satisfaction. ZEXAL doesn't really have a Jonouchi, just saying. :maybe But yeah, it's the same as Digimon always trying to copy the Taichi vs Yamato dynamic. One of the reasons Tamers is really good is they didn't feel the need to do that.

Forcing us to wait until near the end of the series to get the true 5th Signer dragon to show up and for Rua to get the Signer Mark he rightfully deserved back in the dark signer arc for pretty much defeating a Dark Signer 1 v 1 (Ruka doesn't switch decks when she takes over, Rua would have made the winning play himself if he could still stand).

Yeah the writing for females has NEVER been good in Yu-Gi-Oh. 5Ds is probably the best with Aki, Carly and Sherry, but even then two of them fell into irrelevance after the Dark Signer arc so still not great in general.

Character wise, I wasn't huge on any of the ZEXAL girls really. Though the woman who challenged Tron (the one who had a thing for Kaito, can't remember her name) showed a lot of guts. Yuma's sister was definitely the hottest though.

Sadly probably the closest we'll get to anime Judai/Edo using Shining Neos Wingman/Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer against each other. Still fun to see though, new Neos cards putting in the work. :awesome
