Uh huh and Kitana and Mileena are actually sisters now, Raiden is the mortal protege while Liu Kang is the God mentor, Kenshi isn't blind etc. It seems like they're changing a lot of shit, just for the sake of changing it without realizing (or caring) about the fact that you actually need to justify why these things have changed and they're not gonna bother. The only one that's justified is the Raiden/Liu Kang switch as that happened in MK11. Like this isn't a HARD REBOOT, Liu Kang just reset the timeline, any big changes like that would have to be caused by his direct interference. What exactly did he do to make it so that Kitana and Mileena are actually sisters now and, more importantly, WHY the fuck would he do that? What did he do to cause Scorpion and Sub Zero to be brothers. Textbook Netherealm not understanding that if you want to change things that drastically, you either need to ACTUALLY reboot the series, or justify why shit is different. It being a different timeline...

It COULD be Doc Ock I suppose, getting revenge for having his arms taken and being "trapped in this USELESS body". Most likely answer is it'll be Norman as if Harry dies (weather it's actually their fault or not) he'll want to take it out on the Spider-Men. Suppose there's a chance it could be Harry himself if they (stupidly) try to use the symbiote to save his life but, unless his father dies, I don't see what reason he has to hate Spider-Man. I DOUBT it'll be Kraven, doesn't seem the type to want that sort of thing, or even get that mad about Spider-Man not dying. If anything the challenge is what he wants. Of course I'm thinking characters connected to Peter when it could (though most likely wont) be someone connected to Miles. Though I haven't played the Miles game yet so I don't know if...

My question would be WHY? Why rush the finish of the only on-going series you have at the moment when it's generally pretty positively recieved and (as far as we can tell) they don't have another series in the works at the moment? I mean yeah there's Seekers but that's a web novel, the only animated thing they've got coming is that 02 movie.

And in Death Island she's gonna be sharing screen-time with Chris, Leon, Rebecca AND Jill. Odds of our girl Claire actually getting to do something major are pretty slim, unless the final battle ends up being a group effort, which HOPEFULLY it will be based on the group shot in the trailer. :maybe

Code Veronica was good shit, which absolutely solidified the Redfields as top of the pack for RE main characters in terms of quality. The Ashford's are delightfully over the top antagonists, even if Wesker steals the show and Alfred loses points for being a simp and his girl voice being annoying. If I had to think of a major story flaw, it's that Claire pretty much does fuck all in the climax, despite being the character you play as for the majority of the game AND the fact Alexia had just infected and then killed Steve. I understand giving Chris the first fight in the entry hall but Claire should have got the kill on that bitch. And yeah, I know that's why they had Claire fight a Tyrant mid-way through (and her referring to it as a "cockroach" that had to be squashed is one of the most badass lines in this series) AND Nosferatu, but still would have liked to see Claire help Chris fight Alexia at least. I suppose this is where that trend started since the same thing happened in...

I love how this arc (and series) ended with Madame Web telling Peter that "after everything you've done, you deserve some happiness" as she took him to retrieve Mary Jane from the dimensional void she was trapped in. And he sure as fuck did after all the shit he'd been through in this series, especially "that twist" which was fucking soul crushing. :catcry

That's a combination of being delirious from blood loss/almost dying, his mind being overwhelmed by the sequence of what should have been impossible events that just happened in quick succession, and this absolute giga-chad defaulting to his standard helpful mindset by cleaning the blood rather than deal with it at that moment. He was basically acting on instinct. It wasn't until he got to his own house that he dropped due to the pain from his recently mended heart and was able to wrap his head around everything that had just happened. I don't know what it says about me that I never even questioned him cleaning up the blood as being weird. :maybe

Which is ALSO taken from him in the remake as he NEVER fights Nemesis on his own in that version. Now THAT is how you end a game-wide rivalry with a truly terrifying adversary and do it while sounding legitimately cool, not swearing constantly like some sort of edgy teenager. :awesome Watching walkthroughs of the Resident Evil games atm (as the early games are not ones I would be interested in playing myself) and I'm enjoying it a lot. They're much better written than they seem to be given credit for, the cheese honestly adds more than it takes, the music kicks ass and the characters are all really likable. For right now, the Redfield siblings are peak for their respective genders and given Code Veronica is next, somehow I doubt that's about to change. :maybe

Mayuri commited a whole ass genocide in Rukongai without even asking for permission first, nor showing a smidge of remorse about it. Yeah I know the reasoning, but his being pure fucking evil isn't really being hidden, we're just supposed to look passed it because he's "necessary". Aizen's immortal, kind of the reason they had to put him in prison in the first place. He disappeared during the Hell chapter but presumably it wasn't because he died.

I mean bear in mind, Mayuri is one of the most outright evil characters in this manga and he survives to the end, as does Aizen. I guess Mayuri at least has the "necessary evil" aspect to him, even though his actions have long pushed him well passed that and Urahara could do anything he can. More knowledge on Quincy specifically was pretty much the only advantage he had. Aizen and Mayuri are also both among Kubo's favorite characters so that explains that. With Giselle specifically, I have no fucking idea why he survived when he shouldn't have.

They're not gonna do it, but I would absolutely laugh my ass off if they changed it so Giselle actually dies by the end of the war in some Szayel level karmic death. :hestonpls Because you know the snowflakes would accuse them of "transphobia" for killing him off at all, much less doing so in a manner fitting for the character. :mjpls
