Yeah, it’s a pretty versatile ability. Maybe G5 Luffy could be argued to resist a more normal transmutation ability. Or it could just be G5 Luffy could remain fighting in a transmuted state like Vegito fighting Buuhan as a chocolate ball lol. Hard to really tell until Luffy gets hit with that kind of attack in the series itself.
Well. The way Crazy Diamond works is kind of time hax and matter manipulation in one. It could rewind Spaghetti to an uncooked state, rewind a table back to the lumber it was made from, and rewind a tire not just back into a whole state but include the pressurized air that filled the tire to begin with. So theoretically it could rewind Luffy from G5 back into his base form.
It’s definitely another great feat for G5’s toonforce. Though as far as speed, there are clearer Laser interception feats still (Rayleigh’s). Even if I don’t agree with it, to play Devil’s Advocate I can see someone argue that Luffy jumped in front of Kizaru right after he finished charging the beam, and then Kizaru fired it. Rather than Kizaru having already fired the beam before Luffy got in the way. We’ll probably see even crazier shit as the fight goes on though :maybe FTL One Piece is not far away at all.
If Luffy somehow does end up scaling to the ancient weapons by EOS (and assuming they do reach planet level). Perhaps G5 Luffy vs Shinrabanshoman (Fire Force) would become a viable matchup? :blobtrin It would certainly be a fun match-up to see with Luffy’s Toonforce vs Shinrabanshoman’s reality warping, time travel, etc…
I like Atlas as well, personally. Neat Astro Boy reference with their design, very passionate about her inventions, and just all around one of the more fun Satellites in my opinion.
If we're bringing up other Jump stuff here, I'd definitely recommend Undead Unluck. Great time to get in the series since it's getting its own anime series this year, has an interesting conceptual power system, and very strategic fights a lot of them being team battles.
I dunno if "needed" is the right word. In the same arc Luffy also used G4 just to deal with some fodder ships. So that showed he didn't mind using it for complete overkill (I also just think Oda wanted to save Luffy showing his usage of Advanced Armament in base for the Kaido fight). And Drake also 1HKOd a Number despite his performance through most of Wano being pretty pathetic.
Yeah, Kaido and BM just aren't normal top tiers given their freakish bodies, so they're not the best measuring stick. Even other top tiers may struggle more than they would normally given how many awakening attacks BM could take from both Law and Kid and still need massive bomb explosions to ultimately KO her.
I wonder if Vegapunk could do some crazy shit with Seastone to make it even more effective/debilitating to DF users? Like maybe he could make a Seastone powder that he could fill an entire room with, and doesn’t wash off of skin easily for a debuff that’s very hard to get rid off.
I could be remembering wrong, but I thought Burgess didn't have a DF back then. And he wanted the Mera Mera for himself or something like that? If he did actually have it back then, that would pretty much destroy any notion of him being Sanji's future opponent like most of the fandom thinks (as I imagine EOS Sanji would not be low-diffed by a Sabo who only just got the Mera Mera).
I can't even begin to imagine the massive shitstorm in the fandom Law dying would cause :skully I like Law, so I wouldn't root for it to happen of course. But I do have to admit seeing fandom meltdowns can be pretty entertaining (I'll never forget the endless amounts of 🧂 Naruto and Hinata getting together caused for a certain group :lul ).
Well... Now the official translation may clear this up. I'm just saying the leak summary makes it unclear how well this can be applied out-of-universe, which matters more for OBD standing.
Haven't seen any reports of major abuses of russian captives thus far. And treating them decently incentivizes more surrenders, so it would be in their best interests to do so.
Honestly, I just hope there are as many surrenders from Russian soldiers as possible (especially after the mobilization as it's essentially untrained civilians being tossed into the meatgrinder at this point). I have to imagine being a prisoner of war in a democracy is better than being used as fodder for a dictatorship.
