Why are you bringing said cop mechanics when Flower's flip proves it wrong? Watson was tampered with, she wasn't counter claimed and mafia didn't touch her Night 2 knowing she'd be protected and/or watched.
Same reason why Dofla's excuse only works if we are brain damaged collectively looking at night 1 and night 2 and the nonsense about him being targeted for a kill from mafia when he was always going to be a main lynch option.
