In the same vein as you at least expect science fiction computers from the future to not be inferior to contemporary laptop cpus. The question of directing a beam of coherent light with extreme precision and speed is addressed in a very mechanically straightforward manner, it's hard to imagine how one could fail to do that.

Like I can understand people being weary of official translations because some translators have agendas but to throw out the bathwater with the baby inside is just peak stupidity and the height of arrogance.

The worst part? Most creators usually align with the translators ANYWAY, they tend to just not be able to easily say what they want to put out in Japanese from time to time because language differences.

It is and that's why I find it so funny that these dumbasses are now suddenly so quick into trying to translate Japanese to English and think they are going to get it right the first, second or even third time with nothing showing they are good at it at all.

It's why they tend to not realize that it's a complicated language being translated into another complicated language is extremely difficult and context will be lost even with the best translators around. It also, hilariously enough, tend to forget that the creators and Japanese companies tend to have an even bigger handle on their series overseas than ever before which makes their defense of "Translators may be bad" to be even more retarded.

I NEVER heard of an official translator(Even one with an agenda) literally boosting up a speed feat, strength feat or anything on the page just because, NEVER heard of that. That's pure nonsense on every level.

Which truly makes it so funny to me that ANYTIME there's a feat that SB doesn't like anymore(seriously go see any feat regarding FGO to see how quickly they run towards the Japanese translation to "disprove it") when no fucking translator gives a fuck about feats of power, strength or otherwise.

Like you can absolutely see a change in a character's demeanor, tone or otherwise adding in cringe shit... but who the fuck would suddenly go "This character only lifted 500 pounds? Nah mate, I'm changing that this shit weighs 500 TONS, it fits better"
