Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

It's kinda funny because Salfarc does have a point that SB'ers really do take for granted:

Yes this is more legitimate reason than saying "Zack survive that". Because if Bahamut can actually destroy a moon, a lot of things in FFVII will go other way around. Zack survive it or not still does not matter, he is not here. You can even argue that since we never see anyone take damage from summoning at all in any franchise of FF, you can say that the summoner take no damage from their summon's attack. Which will further emphasis that Zack surviving Exaflare does not matter. If you want to say the plot would fall apart, its not entirely wrong, but using Zack is not valid as Zack is not here.

This is about Bahamut not about Zack.

They love screeching about "Breaks the Setting" and shit like that but they really don't realize if we go by that logic, then why does the damage exist then? Why would Summon Materia be used at all? Wouldn't it be worthless? Wouldn't that break the setting even more than just going with the fact that it can do that level of damage?

If they think about it for 2 seconds and did some actual research, they would realize what they are saying to satiate themselves would actually make them be the dumbest idiots in the universe. Materia is literally connected to the Lifestream(So much so that the Huge Materia being gone combined with the Mako Reactors had the cast lay off of them for 3-4 years until Dirge of Cerebus), the Lifestream is what makes Planets be Planets(And people be people and otherwise) and the Lifestream is composed of Spirit Energy which obviously exists in everyone.
Bahamut Fury(As well as every summon) comes from the knowledge of the Lifestream itself and would very obviously strengthen the Planet well beyond the typical Planet(Which is the reason why Sephiroth wants the Black Materia) levels we see in shounen.

All of this is said in Final Fantasy 7 itself with the only alternative media(Which even THAT is shown in Crisis Core) that a Summon transports you into it's dimension(Which we see first hand when Genesis summons Bahamut on Zack).
It's really insane how I did less than 30 minutes of research for these things and found irrefutable proof meanwhile SB acts like this is the truth because they say so is absolutely pathetic.

she flys up a mile in the air then rains down fast homing shot until he dies flawless victory.

There is a maximum altitude, but it's still many kilometers. They flew up to the Sky-Range Dragon, which from the ground appeared fairly small despite being large enough to have forests, lakes & small mountains on its back.

Yes, the just plain Supersonic Frieren will just randomly know fighting Netero headon is suicide, fly up tens of kilometers and rain hellfire until he dies... despite him being well beyond Supersonic and his Bodhisattva would be just as fast and huge as fuck.
If fucking Meruem needed to basically outplay Netero to defeat him(By literally guessing his patterns after hundreds of hits and tries), how the hell is Frieren bypassing that? Like it's absolutely insane how they don't get that this is a VS. setting, not fan-fiction.

jesus christ dathanatus is giving me a stroke

it's not "story breaking" to have characters be this strong because, and I hope to god he already knows this from playing FF7 (or hell, reading the damn wiki for 5 seconds)

METEOR IS THE STRONGEST FORM OF OFFENSIVE MAGIC THAT EXISTS IN FF7

by default, that just means meteor is stronger than any of the summons that we see blow up celestial objects (Bahamut, Sephiroth using Supernova, etc)

not that the feats you don't like suddenly disappear into thin air and that they're all schmucks who'd die to a normal gun being fired at them

truly the SB moment of all time

What's truly damning about this is that trying to remove gameplay from the equation is absolutely retarded because most of the Summons feats are IN gameplay and the story tends to follow that in plenty of points(Like in FF3, your first encounter with Bahamut is in a gameplay segment showing you how you can't do shit to it and it fucks you up but let's you live. This happens the same way in FF4 and it's even plot relevant to a decent degree due to it) and when they DO use Cutscenes? They downplay the ever living shit out of them even then:

Not only the City of Clerya is destroyed, the entire Tree is fucking obliterated... which need I remind you, is basically a Skyscraped sized Cityscape(And I'm actually downplaying it as the Tree itself is absolutely gigantic length, width and height wise)! And Odin is weaker than Bahamut by leaps and bounds(By Kuja's own point) and yet Bahamut only SCRATCHED Kuja. Somehow, they will believe that Odin > Bahamut because they won't take statements into account unless it's for something they life(Same with the other Eidolons in FF9).

This is why I laugh alot when it comes to them, they love saying something "Breaks The Setting" but never understands that maybe the setting is just that strong because that's what the creators wanted it to be? Which has been the case with Final Fantasy since the very start(Which is the whole purpose of Dissidia).

I think you 2 can agree the argument does not matter there since the thread is talking about what Bahamut capable of. That by definition is bad faith argument, a fallacious even. But does it got banned? Warned? Nah.

Imagine deliberately trying to make a spite thread 'cause you're so salty people ain't swallowing your Digimon wank and yet still failing at it hard because no one's swallowing your Lovecraft wank either. :heston

Imagine being so smug despite being so wrong. Must be the story of your life, huh, Freyja gooner?

Cthulhu alone tentacle molests Elric to death.

And unless SMT, Marvel, Transformers, or WoD have any Boundless entities, they're not beating Azathoth neither.

Gethzerion solos.

just Leto II alone could solo all of starwars

Can't wait to see that giant worm trying to defeat the Force itself.

basic lasers used in starwars are already obsolete in dune

Okay??? Saying something is obsolete doesn't mean much. It is only "obsolete" in that context, that's pretty much it.

humanity has achieved immortality

So does Star Wars.

the number of people are in the trillions

And there are quintillions of engineers existing during the pre-republic era. Or quintillions of battle droids being produced by the CIS.

the Bene gesserit already have access to glimpses of prescience, precognition, shields, orbital strikes, and pure numbers

That's literally all the stuff that Star Wars has. Literal younglings are trained to do this. Shields exists from infantry to entire planets. Orbital bombardments exists. Numbers are already discussed earlier.

This dumbass thought that Dune outscales Star Wars, it doesn't.
