https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/frieren-vs-nanoha-takamachi.1150361. lol Imao frieren don't deserve to be treated like that
Says the guy whose trying to pretend Mustache literally sees every future all at once in the other thread, despite the fact we can blatantly tell that's not the case BECAUSE he is caught off guard several times.
If we’re talking Legends, a nobody like Brakiss would stomp Frieren, let alone Darth Fucking SidiousLmfao no, the firepower of the Disney canon Palpatine is far beyond anything that Frieren could ever hope to comprehend. EU Palpatine would solo anyone in her verse. Both versions of Palps do have the power to take down Frieren.
Much like Yor Briar (Spy x Family) Frieren isn't that broken or standout of a character, she just stands out because her in character response to a fight starting is to immediately vibe check her opponent. In an extremely lethal manner. Ironically Fern is even better at that, though her comparative lack of hax defences make her a lesser matchup in all other regards.
Point being, this discussion is all ignoring that in character none of these three will respond to a fight as quickly as she will, and I'm pretty doubtful any of them can deal with her opener.
Sauron has nothing. Voldemort is likely to shield if anything, and that won't work. Palpatine will see it coming due to Force reactions but he can't block it and the strongest version of him absolutely does not have the agility to dodge it.
Just like when he tried that against Kenpachi and...still got cut anyway.Nah. If Gremmy imagines he can't be hurt, that isn't doing anything.
This is considered a benchmark for a mage in Frieren. This is a better combat feat than anything the trio have either performed or survived.
While there is a lot of Frieren over-estimating going on lately
this is one of those cases where she is well within her league.
One of the issues Sauron has is that LoTR is just not built for VS debates as it's written as if it were mythology;
characters do things whilst drenched in ambiguity and without explanation of how;
they're depicted in an imaginative state for the reader to watch in their minds.
Honestly the Silmarillion is the world's most eloguent lore dump.
The movie Eye is still >> by holding Barad-dur and the lands of Mordor in place.
The fuck are we talking about here.
Now the lightnings increased and slew men upon the hills, and in the fields, and in the streets of the city; and a fiery bolt smote the dome of the Temple and shore it asunder, and it was wreathed in flame. But the Temple itself was unshaken, and Sauron stood there upon the pinnacle and defied the lightning and was unharmed; and in that hour men called him a god and did all that he would. When therefore the last portent came they heeded it little. For the land shook under them, and a groaning as of thunder underground was mingled with the roaring of the sea, and smoke issued from the peak of the Meneltarma. But all the more did Ar-Pharazon press on with his armament.
Wrong.
Also, the whole "defying the lightning" thing is useless as a feat.
And that's mainly because it doesn't actually say he got hit by the lightning, merely that he defied it. I could stand on the beach and defy the ocean without even getting wet.
Honestly if he had gotten hit directly with some heavenly lightning directly from Illuvitar I couldn't see him coming out of it entirely unharmed.
Unless of course Illuvitar intentionally made the attack so weak that it wouldn't harm Sauron, which on its own would make it useless as a feat.
I find it weird how people assume Infinity can’t tank Blues, Reds & Purples rather than going for the most sensible take which is Limitless users not being invulnerable to their own moves.
It’s consistently shown in-universe that Infinity can tank anything that isn’t hax tailor made to bypass it.
It's Scion (Valdoll in Japan), the final boss from the CAPCOM fighting game, Red Earth (Warzard in Japan).@GaRbS What's your worstgen pfp from?
Most of those from FSN are mistranslations. And the few that aren't are hyperbole.No, there are actually many times Servants can go Lightspeed or even faster(There are quite a few points in F/SN-F/Z-HA era alone where Servants are stated to attack "As fast as light"),
Most of those from FSN are mistranslations. And the few that aren't are hyperbole.
I mainly don't get why that's considered the "most reasonable" assumption when AFAIK it's never been mentioned his own energy bypasses Limitless/Infinity???
I legit don't understand how people can continually make up shit about Limitless despite being described at length multiple times and even given weaknesses at that(Jogo and Nanami actually could have potentially dealt with Limitless they way they did... if they was strong enough to matter against Gojo which they wasn't).
When in the hell was it ever stated Red/Blue/Purple can bypass Limitless? Because if that was the case, then Red and Blue should be as much of a danger to Gojo is despite him using them at close range or teleporting with Blue.
It's pretty apparent MShadows is now a JJK Fanboy but this is some massive headcanon here.
Niggas just don't know how to READ.
(thread highlights for those who don't want to read everything)
the real infinity is the circular debate it causes

Yes, yes I have.No they aren't because you haven't proven at all which of them are mistranslations...
You assumed wrong.It's also funny because I'm certain you got that from the FGO Reddit where a dude was giving incorrect info for 10 years but the only things that was gotten from Beast's Lair... was nothing from F/SN whatsoever(It was primarily Interviews and of that how the other authors).
I'm guessing you are gonna use the Rheingold mistranslation as the major basis for this?
ABSOLUTE FUCKING KEK!Using DeepL
You assumed wrong.
