My argument was that you shouldnt be hoping into debates with almost page long posts as when debates really get into it, those things can get an absolute pain to read, especially on SB and especially if your responding to multiple people at once.
Imagine having to debate to aru but your responding to like 3 people and each of their posts are a page long and because your on SB you cant double post

Dude is such a shit mod even by SB mod sub-standards that gave infractions for the most irrelevant crap in vs debates, they better live up to their own rules if they actually argue themselves
His argument was that Ki isnt an internal energy its an external thing they take in from the enviroment and thats why their durability isnt that good and why their attacks range in power, or some shit
That only applies when your actually drawing energy from others for things like the Spirit Bomb
Otherwise, everything related to Ki and power levels comes from your own output and body

Like, okay, the secret here is that a long but substanceless argument can be responded to in a short post. If someone has a post that's both long and makes a lot of points that can't just be lumped together into a broad "these all come from the same misconception" then, like, yeah? You obviously gotta respond to that if you want to respond to it. I'm not going to criticize books arguing a point for being too long because I'm not 12.

From the body itself. Ki is literal life force and characters like Frieza and Broly are considered mutants because of how abnormally high Ki they naturally emit just from their mutant genetics alone, nothing about absorbing energy from their surroundings

The argument is "I have to spend a good 5-10 minutes responding to a detailed post piece by piece and hope to god I dont fuck up along the way and have to redo my entire post" and "oh shit now theres 2 of these long detailed posts that I need to now respond to in the same post, taking up entire pages"

Yup in the case of Broly, born with a power level of 10,000 and only got to God Ki levels of power just by growing into adulthood and living on a hostile planet where nothing was a real threat to him
(For reference, a character like Roshi with a power level of 139 can blow up a Moon with that amount of Ki, Broly was literally born with enough Ki to dust planets dozens of times over)
Or Frieza with his 120,000,000 max power level he got from not training a day in his life, it being just the power he was born with.
Point is, Ki is something the body creates on its own and to varying degrees based on the character or how much they train to refine.
Only specific techniques like the Spirit Bomb draw on energy from the surroundings for the person to use themselves

I didn't know Broly spontaneously generated from nothing, and that he sustains himself on nothing at the same time. I also didn't know that him "growing up" produced no material change in his body, and that it relied on no environmental intake to occur. Someone should tell Goku that he's actually totally wrong about needing to eat to be at full power, obviously he can just produce energy internally and acausally.
(Really, all conservation is is cause and effect, mind. Arguing that someone "produces energy ex nihilo" isn't just an argument that "they violate conservation", it's an argument that they violate cause)

In my opinion, I don't think there's any real difference between "plot manipulation" and reality warping.
