Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

yes

it's gonna be a looney tunes ass situation

Tooru's going to stand there while this goofball Andy gets bombarded with anvils and shit
considering his blood can change shape at will, it just wont trip, itll just keep it pushing.

like your putting a personified concept up against a dude who has billions of years of experience killing personified concepts

Even better is that he can just stand still and take any calamity that hits him, unmoving, while absolutely blasting toru and the stand into oblivion.

when does Andy actually kill any of the Master Rules and the concepts they represent permanently though:blobthink:

no non-existent bubbles? gg

Is the main problem with using WoU in versus debate mostly the way it was dealed with in-series?
You needed something that doesn't even exist to bypass it, and it's able to cause damage with more mundane things like making regular rain lethal and completely impossible things to happen?
I think there was a debate I saw whether Loop 100 Andy from Undead Unluck could touch/kill WoU. Andy has endured way more powerful bad luck/unluck/misfortune than anything WoU has shown. However WoU's calamities are much more abstract and bizarre compared to Fuuko's Unluck which usually just summons something more powerful.
imo the real issue is that
1. WoU was only used against peak humans so you might assume “ok just tank it” BUT
2. it makes impossible things happen so clearly durability isn’t really the actual limitation there

it’s also a hit unclear what the range is. Love Train clearly had a range of the entire planet. The furthest we see WoU reach is tens of thousands of feet above Japan and it’s implied it also causes natural disasters. Maybe you could just chalk it up to “ignores durability” and call it a day lol

Over the billions of years him and Juiz had been doing this shit

They aren't permanently removed because that how the universe works in UxU but their personified forms are 100% dead.

He can kill wonder of u, he doesnt need to wipe the concept of "calamity" from existence, just the thing using and abusing it.

I could have sworn i've gone over this before

I mean considering calamity is a natural law that permeates throughout the world and can bring in disasters from the other side of the planet, planet wide range is a good start

isn't calamity literally just fate, anyway? and fate/gravity's pretty much an omnipresent concept across jojo's multiverse as a whole

I don’t remember it ever pulling anything from across the planet though. Love Train did that a bunch of times but the most I remember from WoU is pulling off that plane door which was flying over Japan

Considering Toaru side using Tangram argument which is contradicted within the series itself, i don't see the problem in using it tbh.

Do tell. Said it before and I’ll say it again, all Tangram does is reinforce feats Othinus already did

"Have you forgotten?" Othinus sounded almost utterly exasperated. "This is the Dianoid. The entire building is made of carbon materials. That means you don't need control over every phase, every dimension, and every element to manipulate everything around you. A magician with control over carbon and nothing else can pull that one off."

The presence of Imagine Breaker suddenly felt a lot less significant

It was a reference point for the world.

And so it could negate any and all illusions. But that meant it had no effect on anything that could distort even that reference point. For example, his right hand hadn't been able to destroy the infinite worlds created by Othinus.

Alice could absorb the world to that extent. She simply hadn't done so before now.

her power would go well beyond mine which is limited to the world we're in now. How many times was the world destroyed on your way here? In fact, how'd you even defeat her when she had her lance? …No, merely winning in a fistfight wouldn't get you back to this world."

It was true that 100% Almighty Thor would likely be killed in an instant if he faced 100% Magic God Othinus. Thor ruled a single world while Othinus created infinite worlds.

Not going to bother with the Anos related horseshit that is the rest of this plebes post. Shit reads like he’s rehearsing off a VBW page made of the character

I mean it clearly wasn't infinite given how we have (somewhat) specific numbers as to how many worlds she created :maybe

"But still," muttered fifteen centimeter Othinus. "Through all of those hundreds of billions of phases, I missed the Misaka Network that manipulated the border between life and death. Does he also contain the possibility to always show up or appear anew in every world or phase I created?"

Love Train is still better than WOU when there's a dimensional wall protecting it.

I mean not entirely

it was still able to control Gappy's movements/attack with calamities
