I just had to put this here because holy shit, I can understand people being skeptical on Multi-Continental Gear 5 because they can't fathom the Planet of One Piece is fucking huge... but it's some absolute next level delusion to pretend that Multi-Mountain Gear 5 is wank, completely ignore Garp's absolute bullshit feats even in Part 1 of One Piece to focus dead ass on his Galaxy Impact and how no one died or that Gol. D Roger and Whitebeard not destroying an island with their Haki clash somehow means they can't be Island level despite Whitebeard's use of his Devil Fruit explicitly put him well past that casually as fuck.

The latter is true, we’ve known that since the Spirit Bomb. The only time I can think of the former is in the DBS anime where Goku and Vegeta trained inside a dimension filled with god ki

Specifically he tried using the fact that the kanji for "Ki" and "Air" are the same to suggest they were one and the same.

In other words the atmosphere of wherever they were fighting determined how much power someone could draw on, and that they couldn't produce their abilities independent of that atmosphere.

He then very blatantly ignored all of the space fights as well as the ToP taking place in an empty void
