Yeah, Rock Lee with five gates open probably is faster than the Raikage- the fact that Raikage is supposed to be the fastest man alive according to general knowledge doesn't mean you can scale him to a person he never fought using a forbidden secret technique that jumps him way above his typical performance level. This really isn't hard to believe, given that Gaara was literally the strongest ninja in one of the five most powerful villages and Lee was absolutely demolishing him.
And yes, Deku needs to use fa jin and black whip together to reach his faux 100% percent speed levels, but at the end of the series he's able to use gearshift to hit those speed levels all the time, so...
I don't really feel the need to quibble about exactly what level of nearly or somewhat over the speed of sound Naruto is here, since his opponent is so overwhelmingly superior in that area. We can take it for granted that Naruto is supersonic here, and Deku is still going to be many times faster.
Shigaraki was heat at point blank range by several nuclear explosion, those thing doesn't only have an insane firepower but are hotter that the surface of the sun. It an apple and orange between tiamat missile and Bb, Bb does produce the same heat as nuke.
Futhermore, calc for how strong a punch made by star giant was done by @ThanatoSeraph he also provide the surface area of a right cross, multiple that by 1000 and you get 5,7m², the average male human body surface are is 1.9 m², so shigaraki was in contact with 14 kt tnt (or 7 kt if you use 0.95 m²), if i haven't made any mistake.
There are buildings in the foreground here where individual floors are visible. There are "mountains" here, drawn in the "Naruto generic mountain with no trees" style that are smaller than non-skyscraper buildings.
If you say that these are completely abstracted and don't represent anything, and instead scale from the 10 kilometre blast radius (and presume that the shockwave stops exactly there and doesn't go any further), there are random "mountains" less than a hundred metres tall, and one mountain range with five peaks is well under 2 kilometres in length.
My intention in writing this isn't to say that like, "the laser is definitively a few hundred metres to less than 2 kilometres and Deku would blow it away with air pressure" or anything like that, to be clear. I'm more just making a point that "mountains" aren't actually a size beyond very vague parameters.
Jedi knights block blasters, which shoot plasma, not lasers, which are shot by different weapons, and do actually move at light speed. Blasters are in universe mistaken for lasers because a lot of people don't know any better, but there is a difference.
Lee never fought Neji with the five gates open, so Neji in no way scales to that level of speed. On top of that, Kakashi is straight up subsonic by a huge margin, his feats are just impossible to interpret in any other way.
Lee never fought Neji so we can't say that Neji would ever scale to Lee using 5th Gate
Lee explicitly believes he needs to use the Fifth Gate to defeat Neji despite how genuinely fast he is even BEFORE he uses the 1st and 2nd Gate for Primary Lotus
I keep hearing this from SB every single time but every time they try and bring in proof, it's the most contrived shit ever and completely ignores any context or otherwise everytime.Kakashi has a bunch of subsonic feats by a massive margin
Terpsichore did a bunch of analysis of Kakashi's feats when fighting Zabuza, and none of them broke past some tens of meters per second. Kabuto was able to escape from Kakashi during the chunin exams by simply leaping out of a window and letting gravity carry him to safety (this is the same Kabuto who explicitly states that his and all ninja's nervous systems only move at 360kph). And when he went up against Pain, Kakashi was unable to land a chidori against a chained-up Pain despite being only a few body lengths away when the five second timer started, with his only obstacle being a single dropped body (which even at terminal velocity would only be moving 192kph- if Kakashi was supersonic, this would be so painfully slow that it would seem to be moving in slow motion, and yet it manages to surprise him and intercept his attack). Kakashi is not only undeniably subsonic, his typical speed in combat is less than 100kph.
Galaxy level would still stomp the shit out of Anus anyway
Elden Ring averages a significantly stronger verse then D&D. Baseline humans are relevant in D&D for instance. {See high level fighters}
Because Ohkubo decided to include meta stuff into the story and everyone between TikTok niggas and pretentious pseudo-intellectuals lost their minds over itFor as simple a verse as Fire Force is, it boggles the mind how niggas will wank it to infinity and beyond
Oh no
I had to fucking suffer through this cursed knowledge, so I'm dragging the rest of you with me
Anos McShittalker is in fact (low) multiversal off that fight with the man with the most retarded powerset in creation, the guy with the Source of Nothingness which can return from nonexistent from his source that doesn't exist (gags)
Anos gets dragged into a higher realm of existence that contains both the universe in its entirety and a bunch of other shit, and Anos says something about it being "100 times bigger" than the universe
He then starts to destroy it by aura farming.
I'm not joking.
He fucking swag walks at his enemy and almost shatters the higher dimension.
And then he seals him in a box or something idk, they left out how the fight ended.
You are all now aware that Anos wank has some form of ground to stand on and thus your lives are immeasurably worse
Suffer with me

Okay, so now I have your attention with the clickbait title, obviously I don't think that like, there can't be reasonable variation in people's interpretations of a setting's powerlevels. Half of my posts in the thread have mentioned "Deku outracing bullets in the movie might be too fast compared to other feats" lol. However, this isn't like, carte blanche to just say whatever. The reason why we're in this hobby to begin with is that we think this can be coherently argued, as opposed to people who just go "well whoever the writer wants, it's all arbitrary".
However, I have never liked the framing of "low ends" vs "high ends" that tends to be fairly popular, as I think it kind of just leads to people having an out to refuse to engage with evidence. It can maybe be useful for an utterly titanic franchise with countless authors like Star Wars, but even then I think it's often more useful and true to just admit that different authors writing for different timeframes have different ideas about the franchise. For a shonen manga under one author, referring to "low ends" vs "high ends" tends to end up meaning "direct figures stated by the author" vs "rules made up by battleboarders".
To use a somewhat extreme example, earlier in the thread, there were discussions about how Naruto might be the close to the speed of light because of two frames in the anime adaptation, and that this should then allow him to fight people from MHA who also "react to light." In general, a lot of people dismissed this out of hand. I think this was the correct thing to do, because, like, these people clearly aren't that fast, and 2 frames of animation are a really bad metric through which to analyse "the entirety of a manga franchise." However, there are people who believe in this very strongly. Should we acknowledge them as having an equally valid perspective? Is this just a "high end interpretation"? Of course not. It's not an interpretation that deserves to be taken seriously, it's people being bad at understanding manga because they want to win fights on the internet.
Now, the other way that this position is defended is usually by appealing to perceived double standards. After all, if someone's being biased, they should be "fair" to both manga.
if that fails, then someone will mention that by whatever standards you're using Goku is really weak, and you wouldn't do that to Goku would you? he's recovering from his heart disease and he really needs this
However, I feel like a lot of the time, the double standard only really exists in the mind of the people arguing "equally valid low-ends and high ends."
To be honest, I feel like, reading a lot of the posts here, a lot of the proposed low-ends are not fully engaging with what is usually meant by posting "gravity calcs" or "timeframe calcs" I will grant here that I think some people grant gravity calcs with more weight than is perhaps appropriate, or don't fully understand the argument they were made with in the first place. With that said, I don't think the people who originally make those calcs tend to post them saying "this is the Be All And End All of Naruto Speed because this happened once on one panel." They are posted alongside arguments of what those panels mean and their contextual position in the manga.
A calc is a tool, nothing more and nothing less. They should be positioned in arguments.
With the above in mind, let's take a look at "My Hero Academia Low Ends" that have been mentioned, and see what they mean for the characters in this thread, when placing them in context and positioning them in arguments.
What the fuck
What the fuck
