Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

It’s a lack of cognitive flexibility and imagination to not be able to parse that much apart.

I just think it's just extreme lack of actually trying to do any real research or expanding a person's knowledge amongst stuff like that...
Even I who tended to stick to himself knew about the art of cinematography in it's basic form quite a few times to the point it shocks me that no one equally has ever heard of a Oner or a Tracking Shot or any of those other terms.

Whether it’s an outlier or not isn’t the issue. It very well can be whether my math is correct or not. Measure what is seen, don’t try and make it fit your POV.

Nah, I can get that, I'm more pointing it out because it was someone else and they didn't really bring in anything themselves math wise to go against it or otherwise. It's just more fitting their POV rather than actually having it be expanded as it's the SB way.

Like I said, the presentation is hard to parse apart and nothing he measured comes out to any of the numbers his post churned out for results.

It’s like he had ChatGPT hallucinate a result for him or something.

Again, Brohan showed his work better, was often correct because the math was simple, and you could follow how he got from point A to B.

Yeah, it's all completely fucked and like I said before, I'm godawful at math but even when I know you are doing shit wrong... you are doing shit wrong. :heston
Don't be proud of that sewage because no one else is going to be outside of SB and people already see SB as a joke for that amongst many other reasons.

i only remember them, as some doods who tried to calc but preferred to remain later as usual obd convo citizens, because dif times :maybe
They still tried with some One Piece bullshit and gave us the gloriously stupid Douriki scaling :maybe

They played a pivotal role in probably convincing just about everyone that using multipliers for stats was fucking stupid
the real first lads, who tried this trend, were those i said, gen, cable and chinamang

later, it was you, lolbrohan, ttgl, ningenmind, etc
Cable and Brohan were great, I hope they're doing well.
then xcano and mapsk tried to calc too, but we rejected their calcs so bad, we exiled them to sb :mjlol
I genuinely don't remember them in the OBD, but I also don't really remember most people that posted there unless I actually had a worthwhile debate or discussion shrugs

Which were few and far between, most of them involving @Endless Mike :maybe

Man's a good sport for going back and forth with me in the twilight of my teenage years :skully

It's not even needing to do research. I know fuck all about cinematography and make the fairly simple observation that in some scenes, within the same moment in time, the visual we see on screen often has different pacing between reference points.

Like they're free to call my result an outlier, because why not. Just kind of silly to go measuring the whole ass scene before the moment in question to find a result you like more. One is the dramatic and hype beat, the other is the complete execution shown from a zoomed out perspective. Or if that's too subjective, you can still determine both moments show the same event, but occur at vastly different paces. Its your job to parse apart why then.

Oh, he just took the 9.9 meters he measured and divided them by 1/12th of a second first, then multiplied that 9.9 by 3 to get around mach 1 to show how generous you need to be to get the speed to that level. The shit before that was him shitting the bed treating the pixel count as the meter count.

All things easy to do.

Feel like he kind of verbally punched himself in the dick with his presentation though

douriki scale is as memorable as jplayas itachi but unfunnier :tupac

(somehow, you even there :mjlol)

my dupes remember them, and you my lil urameshi bro, at that point, prob was offpaneled or too lazy to notice in irl, aka you weren't posting that often, on that period, i am psure, if you read some of those blogs, some memories will be activated, once again :maybe

I can get that too but it's still amazing that I have been in plenty of conversations over there and they take what they see as the absolute truth... even if it's a simple ass shot composition or what we have stated and ignore anything else for that. Moving heaven and earth to not commit to shit.

It's like I said to OG, I would be fine if they did this to all series and to all the calcs but they very clearly and easily don't. It's like something I have heard while watching something really fucked up that it's just "Reddit Posting" at the end of the day where you post up a literal essay that says so much yet so little, you hope people will just agree because of the size and siding with or against them.

...
That sounds absolutely insane, has he been using a shitty calculator for that or just show he doesn't really get math?

f you take a step back, and say for example: ‘Can one Getsuga Tensho affect the entire Solar System’ the answer will obviously be yes?

EoS Ichigo could release a Getsuga Tensho that would affect a solar system right? Who’s going to say it can’t when we have the feats?

Now a smaller step foward.

If you say for example: ‘Can one Getsuga Tensho cause some damage to the entire Solar System’ the answer will also obviously be yes?The answer is yes. Weaker characters can immensely impact bigger structures than a solar system, characters of comparable strength can impact and cause damage to bigger structures than a solar system, and those same characters claim to be able to destroy bigger structures then a solar system.

finally, i missed those terrible posts by cvine, let's go, about time, they need the spotlight as well :jordangif

You can’t make this shit up

:hestonpls

Bro bringing up Attack On Titan out of nowhere.

To be honest, they are arguing FLEIJA but don't Knightmare Frames have access to Microwave Emitters and Anti-Matter weaponry amongst other ridiculous ass shit?

Code Geass's tech is like on the level of Gundam and a single advanced Knightmare can solo.
