I don't think Death Battle is going to use characters from little-known books or who are already old.
So I doubt to see Xeelee, Hyperion, Culture etc.
In fact, although they are important characters for literature, I have doubts that they use Conan or Elric since I don't see much interest from the masses for them.

Conan is a maybe but the rest nah they ain't getting on

could see conan as hes enough of a cultural mainstay for most people to know but Elric’s a “relative” unknown despite the massive influence he had
