Death Battle Discussion

Reader mode
The crossover episode was already as death battle-ly as it could be with the entire thing being a chicken fight filled with references and cameos and multiple phased fight from start to finish with change in scenery...I'm not really sure what they could expand on that with aside from a possibly different outcome.

Honestly never expected a poll where Naruto/One Piece would be the weak link. I guess, we did just recently had one with the Vader Obito so people feel more inclined to sample other avenues. I feel like even with the Gear 5 hype most people know how the fight's gonna go. People in the chat even try to tell Chad and Ben "It's too early for Luffy" bruh had +1,000 chapters to get them moon/planetary amps like eos Naruto and Ichigo did, blame Oda :naruramen. It's the oldest of the HST after all.

Folks want Luffy reach his peak
They don't want him fed to Naruto or whatever and some shit happened to change it

Asura could job to Kratos and I'd still be excited for the match just because the fight should be a guaranteed banger. I still ended up enjoying Dante vs Bayonetta because the entertainment factor was enough to counteract the salt. My personal preference would be to have Dante vs Kratos and Asura vs Atrocitus, but they make for a serviceable alternative for each other.
 
In terms of animation, the Freeza vs Megatron felt very one sided. Freeza never really struggled throughout the whole fight, he was pushed around, but it seemed clear throughout it he was in control

Meh I disagree
At the start both for there fair share of hits and kept up with each other well

It wasn't until Freeza went golden it went to his favor and even then megatron was pushing his energy blast back & the lizard resorted to TK' ing the Planet during the beam clash
