I know it probably won't win but If the Naruto vs. Luffy fight doesn't start with the moment of Luffy stealing Naruto's ramen bowl from his victory screen that the Naruto vs. Ichigo fight ended on it would be a huge missed opportunity.

My rpediction is that Kratos/Ashura will win. Peter/Homer will be the odd man out, Naruto/Luffy and Dexter/Jimmy will be neck and neck but I think the shonen reach is too large even for everyone that wants Jimmy and Dexter.

I think Kratos/Ashura wins but my preferred one is Jimmy/Dexter
 
My opinion is that given they allowed both manga and anime Freeza, same should be allowed for Megatron with JP and US G1, that is a major knock on the DB

I don't think Golden Megs would be allowed even if it's a perfect match thematically

I think it was just to compare to Freeza's light ball which is very similar

id personally say no to the force field and no to golden Megs to be balanced

Jimmy/Dexter would be great.

I’m sort of dreading Kratos/Asura. I love Asura’s Wrath so part of me would be just happy to see Asura in a DB but I already know from the DB Cast that they accept the absurdly wanked lore statements for Kratos

And seeing that shit repeated in an actual DB would make me cringe into another dimension :blobnotgood

tbh Super and Ultra are more interesting choreography-wise as they have a lot of unusual transformations and iirc Ultra was breathing evil fire at one point or some shit :skully Golden mostly just stood there and did things like create a new army of 7 star powered Megatrons to match the Primus Vanguard

Yeah their general rule of counting every single high end for a character unless explicitly shown to be an outlier is a problem, Ashura's definitely not winning this. tbf I think they know that a lot of high end feats they use are either outliers or bs they just try to give both combatants as high as measuring stick as they can possibly quantify which is a shaky system to work with.
 
Consensus on the subreddit seems to be that Gru/Megamind is gonna sweep to the finals. Korosensei/Morokuma, Sailor Moon/Madoka aren't gonna slow it down, I personally think Wil E. Coyote/Tom Cat might be a pretty tough contender for it though, the reach of the other two is too limited to have a favorable affect on the poll as oppose to Looney Tunes and Minions characters. I do agree that they are too globally recognizable to lose those polls. It's a shame I would really like to see Korosensei vs Morokuma. The Minions is atrociously popular though it's like Tetsuo's blob from form expanding out of control and devouring everything in sight.

Also, wait are they only doing one champion decided one for next year as oppose for two like this year? That kind've sucks. I kinda thought a 2d and 3d champion was an interesting idea.
 
Ok that's surprising. I really ate my words lmao, with the exception of Kratos/Ashura at number 2 it's pretty much the exact opposite of what Im predicting so far
 
What???

I do not understand people desperately wanting to see DB do a battle that already happened in a crossover.
