I want Jean to win, not because I like her more than Raven but because I feel that DC comics has won many Death Battles, I want her to go more evenly with Marvel.

Raven is a better character and more rootable but I like it when DC loses and frankly only way Raven wins is if DB takes the high end word of god interpretation of a form she might not be even able to transform into in normal circumstances

for UT, fight dynamic basically writes itself, Megatron might as well be robo-Frieza. need tons of energy blasts, explosive physical clashes, shittalking banter, and hype transformation scenes for both as they keep powering up into stronger and stronger forms
for japanese g1, that version of megatron starts out as a generic evil tyrant but actually becomes a full on heroic freedom fighter by the end of the timeline, while still retaining a lot of his smug villain energy, so i think you could work the contrast there well against frieza, have him recognise frieza is like how he used to be and insult him for it, while frieza mocks megatron for losing his way. and then for a fight, megatron has like 5 transformations with angolmois that you could keep escalating through that makes for a natural progression, that also makes him more and more destructive and evil like frieza. also need a scene in both where frieza wraps his tail around megatron's neck and swings him away lol

That’s pretty likely, their current rule of thumb is to use the highest of the high end feats/statements for every character including hyperbole statements and outliers to give them “the benefit of the doubt” it’s partially how they got shirk at planet level and scaling them from much higher end characters by just surviving an encounter with them like scaling Hellbat from True Form Darkseid, or high stacking Hulk to multiverse+ level for having a bang session and doing things like calc stacking for dbz characters of course
yeah either one is very thematic i think, I favor JG1 because it has more potential

They'll give benefit of the doubt when the fight is really close and there's enough room for one side to win already.
They will not do it to 180 a fight where one contestant is most certainly going to win otherwise. White Phoenix Jean is far superior to Raven unless she has a form she probably cant go back to which only has impressive feats enough to beat Jean if WoG is taken. It is too much to give to shift the balance in Raven's favor. If it was closer it'd be one thing, but without it Jean will win 10/10

Alternity is stronger but he has to hijack a space monster’s body for that form so they probably wouldn’t allow it
UT I currently have at galaxy level due to scaling from a tie in comic. I’ve seen some arguments for higher though, the end of that show is really strange in the grand scheme of things.
Every other version besides these two shouldn’t be too significant though, maybe Cloud Megatron could do something but I didn’t catch any actual universal or beyond DC feats in those stories, just a lot of multiversal range. Other Megatrons are typically planet level or lower
