Their Goku vs Superman videos are interesting entities on their own since they pretty much serve as proof that they still composite characters regardless of what Ben testifies or counts as a character composition, going against the clear cut "definitive main versions of the characters going at each other" style. So from what I gathered so far from you guys: the outcome was mostly correct but Unicron got downplayed and lowballed to death along with TF cosmology itself?
And is the fight itself still closer and fairer than Superman vs Goku on the same show? Just curious.
It was never really Goku (Main canon) vs Superman (Main canon) they were all variations.
GvS1: Goku (GT/Toeiland canon + Super Android 13) VS Superman (Post-Crisis)
GvS2: Goku (Pre-GT Toeiland canon + BoG & RoF) VS Superman (Post-Crisis + New 52)
GvS3: Goku (DBH/XV) VS Superman (Infinite Frontier)
They've gotten better about it I just think it's interesting that they still to this day add on non-canon material and adaptations to feats because "It's basically close enough to being the same character they're just in a separate timeline/canon than the main one." Like even casuals on Reddit and Youtube know the difference between canon and non-canon material.
