Yes.

Basically, Telekineses is just moving matter with your mind. This can be via magic, Psychic powers, etc. Pure Telekinetics can't create Energy barriers, teleport or psychic blasts, but on the flipside doesn't tend to drive you insane, or too too much worse than a massive mirgane or an anyerism. Also while a Telekinetic could tear you apart molecule by molecule, they couldn't just think of you as a whole system and decide "that needs to be a different state of matter".

Psychokinesis is manipulation of matter/systems via the use of Psychic power/power of the Soul. So psychic constructions, energy shields, psychic blasts, Psychic Elements, making stone flow like water instead of tearing it up into chunks to throw around, etc.



The oldest distinction for them in real life is actually the spoon test. Being able to levetate a spoon, or bend it with just your mind while holding it in one hand is Telekinesis. If its Levatating also being bent about simultaneously, or being heated up from a long distance via "the mind" its Psychokinesis.


Basically Psychokinesis was the "Super Telekinesis" for scam artists and pick up rate magicians irl
