Going in their sleep/old age, for any animal, is far better than watching them suffer. My dad had to go through that with my Australian shepherd. She had some rare disorder. The vet told my dad that she should have been dead with her white blood cell count as low as it was. I think she was holding out for me to return (I was out of state on a seasonal internship/job) and then passed away a few nights after. It's okay. She died of old age. I didn't have to put her down either.
So sorry to hear that man. Can I ask how old she was? Its always heart breaking to lose a beloved pet.My cat died.

That's a real good life span for your kitty. You gave her a lotta love in those 16 years you had her. You were a good owner, Yoshi.
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. When they are like that, you're right, it's for the best.I lost Daisy, my miniature dachshund, earlier this year.
Her mind wasn't really there anymore so it was for the best.
