Why do you have magic as town
Two main reasons:
His progression on Ekko is a big one. I brought this up earlier and you didn't really budge. I think you've failed to address what his angle is here beyond the fact that he could do it. Which I think is lazy because I think Magic is pretty capable at showing his cracks. He was pretty consistent in his questioning of him and breaking down the reasons attached to his reads. I also find it notable Magic didn't really have a strong direction Day 1 besides Ekko for the most part. This feels relevant because I don't think he'd stop and give up poking other players while bussing if he was doing so. He had a breif stint with Aurelian but this to me doesn't even feel like he was trying as scum to put up alternative options, possibly setting him up as tied with Ekko but I think he would sooner not bother. Weaker reasons would be stuff like the CP kill
I don’t really think he was that strong on Ekko tbh
He was even giving me shit for going in on Ekko towards the end telling me it was a waste of time and I’m not adding anything lol
Piss weak. Entrance was him making low level snipes at players who literally have all flipped or soft confirmed town (Hime/Lethal/Gad/Nibel). His town reads feel like complete afterthoughts and the way he's dismissively town reading Watson, Ratchet, etc. just feels like possible TMI in conjunction with how short he is on scum reads. I think the way he's approaching the solve is wack and didn't factor Ekko into the equation whatsoever.
He was giving you shit specifically for calling your case on him a smoking gun when he was already two feet in the grave. Think that's fair
If you compare him and Ratchet on Ekko I think Magic gave him a bit more attention in hindsight.
I have played with Ratchet for a long time. And what's striking me as possibly stinky here is that while he was on Ekko, I do think he wasn't giving him much attention or dissecting his arguments.
He LOVES breaking Ekko down piece by piece by piece. For pages they will go back and forth. I don't mean the word love here literally, he hates it, but him saying "I'm already ignoring Ekko's posts" is actually in hindsight quite bizzare. He doesn't pass at the opportunity to pick him apart. Because half the time he plays he is breaking down Ekko's arguments to his atoms. See how Ratchet was approaching Orca? Go look back and make your own judgement.
