Yeah, that would honestly be better. The plot needs more than a movie at a time to properly unfold. There's plenty to explore, more than a few movies could properly do in a 2-3 hours runtime. And obviously, no shot a live-action TV adaptation will do it justice. Not to mention that an animated show takes less time and less hassle to produce consistently.
