Frieza showing up and bodying everyone doesn't save the arc from being the drizzling shits, but its certainly ending it on a high-note. 
Frieza Negro, I'd say, is more than likely a Toriyama idea, but eh, I'll give Toyo a point for being involved in it. If arc ends like this, it goes from a 0/10 to a 2/10, solely for Frieza, in my mind.

Frieza’s nor form is an improvement over Golden. Black with Gold would have looked pretty dope though.
Piccolo Orange is still the best for me. Despite the name, it’s not just a color pallete swap with Piccolo also getting bulked up

Toyotaro unironically comes up with better forms and explanations to it than Toriyama now. That is the only plus the manga has over the movies/Toriyama’s napkin notes

Also, both Frieza and Piccolo got their gains off-screen, so if we're given the green man shit, we absolutely have to give the honorary black man shit as well.
