Been having scrambled eggs for breakfast nearly every day and always putting hardboiled eggs in my salad as part of my new diet for the past several months now.

Have more energy than ever before and a recent doctor check up says my blood pressure and cholesterol are great despite what balding, soyboy “health specialist” says.

Dude egg is good to you. everything can be a cause of premature death. Sugar, bread, rice. if you are too afraid to eat might as well die of hunger.

:Pika: Sugar is a bigger problem than egg or meat but those dumbass will tell you to eat a gallon of ice cream.

To quote Arnold, base your diet on the following seven items.

1. Lean proteins (eggs fall into this category).
2. Fruits.
3. Vegetables.
4. Nuts.
5. Seeds.
6. Legumes.
7. Whole grains.

And you'll probably be good.

More like these guys likely tell you to eat the food pyramid's stupid high carb low fat diet. We've seen obesity explode since those recommendations.

Fat guys need to avoid most carbs.

Though I did read something interesting from Arnold today. I'll quote him again.

When you’re trying to lose weight, many diets focus on removing or restricting certain foods. But, new research suggests adding — not eliminating — plays a key role in helping you lose weight.

Regardless of your food preferences, eating more protein is likely to help support successful fat loss.

That was the outcome of a study that looked at three different diets. The researchers found that a high-protein was more effective than a calorie-restricted diet that was lower in protein, and a method of intermittent fasting known as 5:2. This method has you eat a normal amount of calories five days per week, and then two days per week you only eat 500 calories.

Fat loss wasn’t the only benefit of eating more protein. The participants also improved their blood lipids and lowered their blood sugar.

That’s not to say the other methods didn’t work; they did. All three groups saw changes to their weight and lost fat. But simply bumping up the protein — eating 30 percent of daily calories from protein — was more effective than focusing on cutting calories (and eating less protein), or fasting two days per week.

And before you think it was about cutting carbs, the people following the high protein diet ate 40 percent of their daily calories from carbs. The lesson: many different eating styles can be effective, but you don’t need to follow something complicated. Consistency and eating enough protein can be the foundation of an effective plan.

Very important to hear. The only thing my doctor criticized me for is that my blood sugar is still a tad too high

because protein gives you the energy to move. :kannasip

More protein you have more energy for the day and the more energy you have the better you feel to move around.

When I was working out hard and ate a lot of red meat, I went to get my blood checked to see if cholesterol was an issue

Not only was it perfectly healthy along with everything else, but my testosterone skyrocketed. Also I felt powerful
