Another thing I’m hoping for is not a repeat of the hyper detailed, photo realistic graphics tried in Jump Force. Just doesn’t mesh well with more than half the characters

They should do something like CyberConnect2 does with their JoJo fighting games and the early Naruto Ultimate Ninja games on PS2. Stylized cel-shading CGI with cool shading techniques used making the characters look like animated manga panels. It’s such a nice aesthetic

Time travel is a pretty cool concept in general. Would like to see more of that in anime

Another world or not, huge warning sign if whatever it is your reading has the classic Isekai City for the generic fantasy backdrop on it though

It annoys me those trends tbh, its just jumping from cancer to other cancer doesn't help they usually don't try to pick good ones, and being "top 10" is definetly not a good paramenter of quality

The MC’s friends and allies end up betraying him after he defeated the Demon King, everyone in his village gets massacred, got framed, and blamed for crimes he didn't do, he lost his mom, cousins when he was younger, and lost his older sister and unborn nephew when he was the hero, gets locked up and tortured physically, psychologically and sexually by the princess. He manipulates a goddess (who has an obsessive love for the MC) to resurrect him and he is highly motivated to give his false comrades the most agonizing and humiliating deaths imaginable. Where he becomes a vengeful, sadistic psychopath that brutally, mercilessly, and ruthlessly murders his victims.
