oh lawd
And everybody rejoiced
When my PS4 did that I bought a new HDD but even that capped after about a few months to half a year. You'd be better off getting a new console. And that thing ran like an air conditioner on full cold blastSo, my XBOX ONE X decided to have a hard drive error. It was either get a new console, seeing as shops don't do repairs for that system anymore, where I am, or just say screw it, and try to fix it myself.
I'm picking to do the latter. Wish me luck, lads. I either fix it, or make it worse.
So they put the air combos from the 3d games in this? At least they look cool.
Hopefully Kenshi doesn't get shat on here like he got in Mortal Kombat X's story?
I'm kinda stubborn, and don't want to go spending money on a new console. Heard you can actually wipe the hdd the console comes with, which should remove whatever is causing the error, and then make sure it's formatted before putting it back inside and doing an offline update. When my PS4 did that I bought a new HDD but even that capped after about a few months to half a year. I've had my OG PS4 since it came out, and it still works just fine, even if it sounds like a jet engine.I lucked out. My PS4 Pro been running since 2017 fine until I finally ditched it for a PS5 around the start of this year
Minus the fan being loud AF even running demanding games that were hardly demanding. Definitely don’t miss 6 years of listening to that
Reminding me of my old XBOX 360. Loved that thing, for all of the year or so it lasted, before it broke. Was devastated I couldn't play Gears of War anymore, at the time.Reminds me of how my OG Xbox just had its scanners corrode away recently. Thankfully I know people in my town who mess around with this stuff all the time, who even said it was possible to repair it. I've had that thing for 15+ years now, I'm not letting some fixable error take it away from me![]()
