Apparently if the mangastream translator is correct Gigi uses boku which is a male pronoun anyway
To be fair, females can use the pronoun Boku to refer to themselves to make them closer to tomboys but it's pretty obvious that they are going for the surprise that Giselle is a boy the whole time.

Thing is Boku is also use by female specially if they are into sports or just more active.
