So Aerith (probably) dies like in the OG game.....except she's still alive in Zack's timeline, and Sephiroth is trying to merge the timelines.
So her and Zack are set up to cross that divide to back up the surviving cast, before presumably fucking off to the Lifestream when its done? Or i guess just going back to their timeline afterwords.
So they did both what Xhom wanted and what i wanted: killed Aerith like the OG and also killed the entire rest of the cast
Of course neither of us actually get what we want depending on how they play put this multiverse thing, so Part 3 is going to be fucking weird lol
